Subject: Greatness of the High Priesthood
The power of the Priesthood is the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit is the mind of the
Father and the Son. God is priesthood - priesthood is God with us. The prophet is God with us and God
over us. To obey the prophet (Rulon Jeffs) is to obey God. (Quote from LSJ sermons) "There is never
but one on the earth at a time, on whom this power and the keys of this priesthood are conferred". He,
President Jeffs, is as Moses in this day and time, to gather Israel.
There have been times in priesthood history, which is the only true history, when whole armies
have come against the prophet. The Lord would send destroying angels to kill the prophets enemies.
Some of you young men have been to the prophet, and he, with your father and some others,
lays his hand upon your head and he uses certain words. The priesthood does its work through blessings
through words and the prophet, who always has the spirit of God in him, that spirit goes into the person
he touches, and gives the gift the prophet voices with words. The spirit of God goes through his hands,
into your body, and it does what he says. That's how Heavenly Father's spirit works - through the
prophet. The spirit of God understands his word. One day, you young men will have the priesthood
power in your bodies. You will then have the greatest power that's ever
given to men - to do whatever the prophet directs. You can't go throw down mountains and fight battles,
and do what you want just because you want to, but if the prophet said "Go do a work", because you
hold the priesthood, you will be able to do that work.
This special power, through the spirit of God, was given your father. He then had the power to
hold a wife, or wives, and he had the right to have you, as a child. If your fathers didn't have the
Melchizedek priesthood, they couldn't have their family today. That's the power in them that makes
them the boss in the home. It's the priesthood. You can't see it, but you can feel it.
When a man holds the priesthood, and God's spirit comes into that man holding the priesthood,
that man can act and do, as though he was God in person. President Jeffs can now do whatever he is
called to do, as though God, Himself, were here. He (God) has given that power into the person of
President Jeffs, to speak in His name, when He wants him to.
The Lord said if anybody out on the street - a gentile or anybody - were to come into the
presence of God right now, they would bum up. They would be destroyed in an instant. The only people
that can come into the presence of God and survive, and not be destroyed, are men who hold the
priesthood, like the prophet - and women who are with a priesthood man. You have to come into the
presence of God through President Jeffs. I'm talking about something that you want. You want to come
into the presence of Heavenly Father again, but you do it through President Jeffs and this power he
holds.
I know this is the true work of God. I testify to you that there are people living among this
people, the Lord has risen from the dead, through President Jeffs. I know their names. That is the power
of life in the priesthood. You must be connected to the man who holds the priesthood after the order of
the Son of God - those words mean he can act in God's place - to have eternal life and get to the
celestial kingdom. Today, we are all blessed more than any other people on the earth, to be connected
with this prophet, who holds this highest priesthood.

 President Jeffs has the power to give blessings that go beyond this life. Your baptism is forever -
that came through President Jeffs saying, "Yes, you can be baptized". When you get the priesthood that
is forever. When you get married, that marriage is forever - it never quits - because the power President
Jeffs holds is the power of our Eternal Father.
By the time you get through with your life, you will find out it was through the prayers of the
prophet you were connected with, that you have survived, that you have been blessed, that you have
had happiness. You become like God through obeying President Jeffs. He stands as God to this people,
administering to us.
About 15-17 years ago, there were several apostles who turned traitor against President
Johnson. Many apostles have fallen away, not believing. There is only one man who holds all the
powers of priesthood and is the key holder, and that one man today is President Jeffs. He is our Enoch,
our Moses, our Elijah. The work of all the prophets is now alive in President Jeffs. You become like
God through obeying the prophet - the man who stands as God. A few years ago, Marion Hammon,
Guy Musser, Alma Timpson - men who were ordained apostles - turned traitor against Uncle Roy. They
wanted to be the great power over the earth, and they wanted Uncle Roy to die, but President Jeffs was
there to help him.
No elder, no father, can go off and make up his own rules. For him to stay a faithful father, he
must live the prophet's rules. Nobody can be their own big boss and get to heaven, right up to our
Savior, direct. You only get to heaven through the living prophet in your time. Because of this great
power President Jeffs holds, he is everything to us. All your happiness comes through him. The Lord
has promised this prophet, "Whoever you bless, I will bless. Whoever you curse, I will curse". Young
people, you must understand, the ancient prophets' work is alive in President Jeffs today.

Subject: Melchizedek; The Tower of Babel
Whenever we talk about former prophets, we're really talking about President Jeffs. The prophet
is the key holder, which means the power of priesthood over all the people. He is the mouthpiece of
God. Any new revelations must come to the people through that one man. There are not two men that
do it, only one. He is the fountainhead, meaning he is the source of the spirit of God to us, the source of
all the blessings we want or can receive.
It's easy for the Lord to give us a different language if it's His will. The gift of tongues comes by
faith. It’s a great gift, yet is one of the lesser gifts - a gift that most people want, but doesn't do us any
good unless it's needed. You young people, you don't go to Heavenly Father and ask Him for the gift of
tongues. If you young men were sent to the nations of the earth to teach them the gospel, if you needed
to know their language, you would have the right to speak in another tongue.
We won't speak English all through the millennium. We will speak the Adamic language, and
the Lord will give it as quickly as He took it away (Tower of Babel) to a new people of faith. The
language that Father Adam spoke was what he came into the Garden of Eden with - the Adamic
language. We only assume it's the same language they speak in heaven.
