As flames shot out windows and across the roof of a

Rumson mansion, a firefighter from Sea Bright hopped
out of a moving truck and ventured into the building to
look for anyone who might be trapped.
Video from a camera mounted on the firefighters
helmet captures the first-person perspective of his response.
We feel that releasing this film will not only give the
public insight on what we do but will allow our brothers
and sisters of the service an opportunity to better both
themselves and ourselves in the future, said a post on
Sea Bright Fire Rescues Facebook page. The members made multiple attempts to try and gain control of
the fire with an interior attack but were subsequently
driven back.
The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation, according to Monmouth County Prosecutors
Office spokesman Charlie Webster. The offices major
crimes arson investigators, the Monmouth County fire
marshal and the Rumson Police Department are working on the case.

would destroy a rich, woodland ecosystem and potentially allow contaminated runoff from the adjacent safari park to reach waterways that ultimately feed into
the Delaware River and Barnegat Bay.

You obviously want solar power, but not at the expense of a forest, she said.
Former Gov. Jim Florio, who attended the event,
called the plan an abomination.
The reputational risk for the company is very
high, Florio said, referring to Six Flags. The whole
idea of a company that caters to young children doing
the things that theyre doing is something that will not
