10. Knowledge in Codes & Standards for Painting/Coating industry such as NACE, SSPC, BS and API ,
Material inspection of Raw materials , prefabricated materials & Review of material certificates to
check compliance with project specifications and meeting the required mechanical /physical /chemical
composition values.
Check up of MTC'S of all received welding consumables at site to ensure that all welding
consumables, gases, flux, filler wires meet the code/specification requirement and are in good
condition prior to use.
Stage wise Inspection as per QC plan of fabrication: like Material Identification, Maintaining Material
trace ability, welder Qualification, Dimensional Checks, Fit up / Tolerance Checks and all other
activities concerning the Quality Control.
To identify and prepare Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) & PQR for jobs as per specifications
and verify Welders meet PQR requirements.
To monitor Welder performance and conduct visual inspection of welds and repairs accordance with
`company procedures and international codes of practice.

corrosion of weld area.
