Course Objectives
1. To gain an understanding of the concepts fundamental to environmental science
2. To understand the complexity of ecosystems and possibly how to sustain them
3. To understand the relationships between humans and the environment.
4. To understand major environmental problems including their causes and consequences.
5. To understand current & controversial environmental issues and possible solutions to environmental problems and their pros&cons.
Course Outcomes:
CO1. Ability to understand the impact of industrial activity and other human actions on the global environment.
CO2. Enhancement of student critical thinking skills in preservation & protection of the global environment.
CO3 Distinguish and analyze ethical problems that occur in business and society, and choose and defend ethical solutions.
