I am a second year Loughborough University student studying Information
Management for Business, having completed my A Levels at The Billericay
School in 2013.

Course Outline
My degree of choice Information Management for Business (ITMB), is a
course which collaborates between both Business and IT, to equip
students with necessary technical and business skills that can be applied
within the business world after university.

I was given a variety of tasks ranging from processing

orders in the IT
department as well as helping to resolve any
customer enquiries. This
enabled me to improve my entrepreneurial skills and
gave me an

understanding on how the company functions on a

day to day basis.

Additional Skills
In 2012 I was chosen to help out at a business enterprise day in order to
provide students with sufficient business knowledge for the future. As a
leader I had to take on the role of organising different activities in which I
would have to mark the performance of each of the students. This
experience developed my communication skills even further and enabled
me to gain adequate leadership qualities, whilst giving me greater
confidence to take control in a business environment.

I have received the Stewart Martin Award for Information Technology,
which is awarded to the student with the highest A Level IT Grade.
In addition to this, I have been fortunate enough to compete in and win
the ITMB Masters South Event (having won the heats in Loughborough

I am able to speak fluent Turkish which can be beneficial in a business
situation as I would be able to communicate to potential investors and

I am currently part of the Loughborough Running Society, whilst taking an
interest in fitness at the gym which requires dedication and commitment
in order to achieve the finest results. In addition to this, I am also part of a
seven aside football team; this is beneficial for my communication and
team working skills.
