Born in 1982, Davide Asker Carioni is an eclectic artist whose interests

embrace a wide range of activities, from graffiti painting to motion graphic

and video mapping.
He had his academic education in Milan, first at the Accademia di Belle Arti di
Brera, where he obtained a bachelors degree in Artistic Design for Business.
Afterward, he attended the advanced course in Product Design and obtained
his masters degree at the Politecnico di Milano in 2008.
Asker started his artistic activity with graffiti painting in 1999 and he developed
his own style, which is based on three-dimensional lettering. Soon after he
became a member of some important graffiti writing crews, such as ACV,
Interplay and the historical TDK. Throughout the years he combined his soft
and sinuous style which characterizes his activity as a graffiti writer - with
the introduction of new graphic and figurative elements, enriching in this way
his artworks with new concepts and meanings. This combination marks and
influences all his artistic activity, conferring a unique and recognizable stylistic
signature to his work.
Since 2000 he has been participating in numerous international exhibitions and
graffiti jams, such as: Street Art Sweet Art at the Pavilion of Contemporary Art
(PAC) in Milan, Urban Painting (exhibition and live painting in Milan), different
editions of Meeting of Styles around the world and many others.
In 2007 he was selected with other twenty four artists to represent the Italian
country in Los Angeles with the Italian Masters Tour, during which Asker
painted with the best local street artists, and he took part in an exhibition at
Crewest Gallery in Downtown. In the same year he painted the background for
the designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada at MACEF event.

In 2009 he started to work as a freelance and he opened his own studio, called
Original Asker (www.originalasker.com).
The relationships within the urban landscape as a graffiti artist, his work as
a motion graphic designer, his talent in projection and the 3D style led him
inevitably to the discovery and study of VIDEO MAPPING in 2010.
Thanks to his visual projects focused on video mapping, Asker has been
travelling all around the world. Among his various experiences, we can
remember: the inauguration of Cayan Tower (Dubai, UAE, 2013), Fujairah
Mono Drama Festival (Fujairah, UAE, 2011), Eurovision opening on Maiden
Tower (Baku, Azerbaijan, 2012), Lagoon Monster performed in Venice
and at Glow Festival (Eindhoven, NL, 2013), as well as internal and external
artistic commissions for private, public institutions and large companies (such
as Ferrari, Marlboro, FIAT, Fendi, DHL, Eastpak, Maserati, Sky, Zegna and
Triennale Bovisa).
Since 2012 Asker has been teaching at CFP Bauer school a theorical and
technical course focused on video mapping, in Milan.
