GOOD BUYS FOR THE WEEK

Strawberries:

Demand for strawberries is

very strong due to Aprils
holidays Mothers Day. Be
sure to contact your sales
rep ahead!

Dont forget to jump on the

bandwagon for one of the
most popular Fruits of the
Month we have had in a
long time. Darling pixie
tangerines are darn sweet!

Mangoes:
Excellent fruit now at some
of the best prices of the
year.

Now in stock! This week well start receiving

our first shipment of North Carolina
strawberries. Please watch our weekly local

KEEP IN MIND

GOOD BUYS
Mangoes
Oranges
Red peppers

Oranges: Larger size

oranges still at good prices. Very good sugar level
and juice content out of the
navel orange crop from
California but smaller sizes
(113s and 138s) are in
high demand with higher
prices.

Green beans:
Both bushel beans and
snipped green beans from
Florida are good buys this
week due to perfect bean
growing weatherwarm
days and cool nights.

Crimsons continue to arrive

in good volume as we approach the end of the import grape season. We also
have black seedless and
lunch bunch at fairly good
prices. Greens are still
leading the pack on prices.

Cauliflower:

Grapes

Demand is exceeding supply.

Avocados

Avocados:

Canary melons

Up a couple of dollars on
good demand. The oil content is so rich now that ripening process is fast.

Still good prices on abundant crop.

Leaf lettuce
Bell Peppers

Apples and pears:

Prices and quality on both
apples (especially red
delicious) and pears have
come down.

Asparagus
Red Peppers: These
bright red peppers are a
great buy for this week,
with good pricing.

Cilantro and
parsley
Cauliflower

Herbs:
Prices are high and quality is
fair for cilantro and Italian
parsley.

Blueberries

Limes

Lemons:

Price has increased this

week, due to short supply.

Pixie tangerines

KEEP IN MIND

We have seen a welcome

price drop on raspberries
this week out of California.

Asparagus:

Florida is now our source

for beautiful blueberries.
They are a good size with
firm delectable berries.

WATCH

Canary melons:
The first of the canary melons from Central America
has arrived with great
quality!

Limes:
Prices on limes have finally
started to
decline a bit.

Celery:
Oxnard, CA is the primary
shipping location on the west
coast. Supplies now are
tighten, which has caused
prices to increase.

Leaf Lettuce:
Green leaf demand
exceeds this week and is in
extremely light supply. Prices
are high.

Bell Peppers:
Bell peppers are tight from
Arizona due to quality and
availability.
