Display the last proved/current meter on startup in the meter drop
down box.
Two-Series Bi-Directional provers - Show the set of runs for the
first series and then the set of runs for the second series.
Density label incorrect for App 24 - "Den@15C" should be "Den@Ref"
for meters running products with water or NIST14 product
algorithms.
Density decimal places should be 1 for App 24.
Zeros were showing for temperature, pressure, and density when the m
eter
run was changed and the prover mode was different for the meter
runs
(i.e. mass vs. volume).
Communications
Total message lengths limits were set according to Modbus standards:
256 bytes for RTU messages
256 + 6 bytes for Modbus/TCP messages
513 for ASCII messages
Modbus/TCP message length was incorrectly limited to 255 bytes instead
of 256 bytes (not including the Modbus/TCP header bytes) because it
was only using one out of the two bytes for length in the
Modbus/TCP header.
General
Applications 22.74.05, 26.74.02, and 25.74.00 and up are now supported
with OmniCom.

Version 1.18 - November 16, 2005
Configure
Equipment Flags
For firmware revisions that do not have the equipment flag
registers, the Prover Equipment Flag will be auto set if any
of the prover I/O are configured.
The prover tree item was not visisble when the Enable Prove box
was checked for gas applications.
Ports - Protocol
Apply had to be pressed twice before changes to the CRC Detection
checkbox took effect when online.
Archives 701-705
Detailed Daily Report can be configured in Archive 701 with
firmware 23.74.19 and up.
Import DOS Configuration
If the DOS Omni configuration file being imported had a lower case
extension (*.omi), the DOS configuration file was copied into
the new templates.
Transmit All Configuration
Serial Port 1 Port Type (Printer/Modbus) was not being written to
the Omni.
Report Template Editor
The file filter on the Open File dialog was not defaulting to the
correct application in the template extension when importing a

Level B users.
Diagnostics
I/O Overview
Density Pulse type Process Inputs are now divided by 1000 before
display.
Process Inputs on H, HV, and SV cards first have 8,000,000
subtracted and it is divided by 100 and displayed as a
percentage.
The size of the display field was increased as some Process Input
values were cut off.
General
Help File updates.
*******************************************************************************
Version 1.17 - October 7, 2005
Configure
System Date and Time
In the offline mode, the date and time of the last received
configuration is displayed.
Editing System Date and Time might not reflect change. The Omni
needs at least one second to process date and time changes.
OmniCom was reading too soon and sometimes it appeared as if
the Omni had not accepted the change.
Modules - One serial port
If online and there is only one Serial or SE Module, the program

uses the "live port" (the port the connection is made on)
to determine if ports 1&2, 3&4, or 5&6 should be enabled in
the configuration tree. (If in offline mode, the user may add
additional Serial or SE Modules in the Modules page to enable
the ports to configure in the configuration tree.)
Process Inputs
Density Units for non-pulse types - if adding a density process
input that is not yet assigned a 'type', the units are now
blank until the type is known. A message is displayed in red
guiding the user to the Help file for information on the units.
SV Module Process Inputs allocation - OmniCom always counted 12
process inputs per SV Module. This has been changed such that
the process input is only allocated if one of the ports on the
SV Module is configured for the Rosemount protocol. The user
in now able to configure any SV Port for an SV Process Input
that has the Rosemount protocol regardless of whether the
Process Input is shown under the tree for that module
(SV-1 or SV-2) that contains that port.
SV Setup Page - The SV Port Protocol types are automatically set based
on the meter types and SV Ports configured for the meters.
Ports - Ethernet Setup - Modicon Compatiblity was added for 23.74.19,
24.74.17, and 27.74.18.
Meter Setup
Added Krohne VOS as Aux 'n' for Krohne Ethylene fluid types for
application 27. This field is only displayed if the user
selects a product which is a Krohne Ethylene fluid type.
K-Factor Curve page - Changes made to the first frequency while
online were not getting written to the Omni if that was the
only frequency changed before Apply was pressed.
V-Cone for application 23 - V-Cone Reynold's numbers and Flow
Coefficients were not written to the unit when a file was
transmitted to it.
Density Setup - type and source checks
If a Density I/O point is assigned to one that is already used
elsewhere, the density type and source are carried over from that
previously used I/O point. If the density type or source is
changed, the type and source are changed whereever else the I/O
point is used.
Product
Measurement Algorithm - 20.74.14 and up - added NGL table
select 40 for Product 1 & 2 only.
Product Setup - if NGL table 40 is selected, added entries for K0,
K1, and Equilibrium Pressure.
PID Tuning - Response - Gain Factor - range checking - low end range
value was incorrect. It was 0.1 to 99.99 and now is 0.01 - 99.99.
Archive 701-705 configuration - Application 23.74.10 and up - if the
Detailed Daily Report is activated, configuration of Archives
701-705 is disabled except for the max records, and text is shown
in red indicating archive memory is being used for the detailed
daily report.
Printer Setup - The HP Laserjet default normal mode string was set to
an HP Reset string (1B45) instead of the HP Single spaced mode
(1B266B3053).
User Displays - Added Import/Export to file
The user can right click on a any User Display page and a menu
appears with the following utilities:
Import User Displays...
Export User Displays...
Transmit All User Displays...(only if online)
Configuration Print causes OmniCom to crash

A resolution in the User Displays was out of range and the program
crashed when it tried to format the resolution. The reslolution
range is now checked before displaying.
Report Template Editor
Report Template Editor Tree - added a context menu
The user can right click on a template in the tree and a menu
appears with the following template utilities from the File menu:
Import Template...
Export Template As...
Import an OmniCom DOS Template File...
Added support for the 'E' format specifier set in the precision field.
Importing OmniCom DOS Template - crashed when width out of range.
Added range checking on width and precision. Notifies user of
point number and error.
Operate
Reports
The Product and Status Reports were moved from Historical Reports
to Current Reports on the tree list.
When viewing a report that has been retrieved by the unit, the
form feed control code now appears as a page break.
Added a "View Saved Report" button. The reports are now available
offline in the Operate tree. When offline, it automatically goe
s
into the View report mode (as that is the only button available
offline).
The Abort button was added when communicating online so the user can
terminate the automatic report retrieve.
Included more information for the user when there are errors.
Archive Data Retrieval
Now uses Computer ID for file name instead of using configuration
file name.
Better file and folder error reporting have been added.
Better communication error processing has been added along with a
chance to continue with the retrieval.
Text Archive retreival - Sometimes came back with records when there
were no records.
Archives 701-712 - Retrieval
Sped up the retrival process for applications 20, 21, 23, 24, 25,
and 27.
The current record number being read is shown on the Apply status
message.
The "Abort" button is enabled when reading browser date and time
stamps and when retrieving archive records.
Not appending file data correctly - if the box for "Append to
existing file" is selected, only records that do not already
exist are added to the file in the proper position using the
date/time stamp. For Alarms (711) and Audit (712) there may
be records with the same date and time so an additional field
is added to the check. For Alarms (711), it uses the Modbus
ID, for Audit (712), it is the event number.
The blank line at the top of the file was eliminated.
Archive Maintenance - screen not reflect changes
The delay after the archive is set to "running" has been increased
to account for the extended RAM processing time.
Batch Control
The current batch meter factor is displayed next to the current
batch product.
Batch units now match batch preset units reg 3099 (gross, net,
mass).
Batch Remaining

Units were missing.

The value was not going negative after passing zero resulting
in huge numbers on the display.
Metric apps only - the value should have the same resolution
as the totalizer that matches the selection made for the
batch preset units (gross, net, mass).
Prove Control - "Density At" units
For 24.74.17 and up, for products that use the API 11.1 2004
table, the "density at" units are "60F" instead of the usual "15C".
Diagnostics
Modbus Tester
Allow Broadcast messages - the user may temporarily change the
Modbus ID to zero for broadcast messages. Broadcast messages
are only for function codes that do not require a response.
Processing of 8-bit data types were not being processed correctly
for function codes Reads (03 and 04) and Writes (06 and 16).
Communications
Receive All/Transmit All Configuration - the Omni unit's
application, version, revision, and/or checksum is re-checked
before every RX or TX all configuration to make sure it has not
changed.
General
Application 21.74.00 and up is now supported with OmniCom.
Importing DOS Configuration files the corresponding DOS templates are
also imported automatically.
The last folders used are now saved for the following actions:
Config Open or Save as, Import Template, Export Template,
Import DOS Config, Import DOS Template. Each time the
user does one of those actions, the file path returns to the last
used folder.
New Files - set default values on creation
The default values the Omni sets on RAM reset are now set for
OmniCom when a new file is created. Note: There are some values
that are still under discussion: Base Temperature, Base Pressure,
Prover number of runs to average and Prover Overtravel.
Opening incompatible files
If a normal file open is performed on a DOS configuration file, or
while in the Config tree a normal file open on a DOS template
file, the Child window closed and it was left with just the Main
Frame window. It now comes up with an informative file format
error message and leaves the Child window in place. The error
messages were also changed for opening incompatible files while in
the template tree.
Help file updated.

Process Inputs:
Removed alarm limits for flowmeters and moved to Meter Setup.
Inputs configured as an Aux Input type were not reading/writing
to the correct register numbers. This caused limits, input
scaling, overide value, and damping codes to be corrupted.
Factors and System Contants

Added Molecular Weight for gas apps.

Ft3 to Gallons - increased significant figures to 7.
General
Files - incorrect extension on file save when closing down frame or
closing all frames using the X in the top right hand corner.
If you opened a file, connected to a unit and then saved the file, the
first PI tag was corrupted.
Before transmit when checking file verses unit, only check and show
the maximum number of ports (file or unit).
