What Get in the Ring does

Similar to rock stars, startups need fans in order to be successful. Get in the Ring, initiated by the
Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship, puts startups in the spotlight, and gives them a worldwide
podium to connect with investors and create a fan base. Jumpstarting your business is no longer only
about friends, family and fools. We introduce a fourth F: that of the fans who can invest with
knowledge, network, funding, and time.
In 2014 over 2,000 startups will compete in Get in the Ring, known by its fans as the Olympics for
startups. This year, all GITR participants will need to survive two selection rounds to reach the
International Final in the Netherlands. Through national selection rounds in over 64 countries, and
finals in each region of the world, the 8 most promising startups will come together in Rotterdam on
November 21st to compete in the International Final. Four Champion investors and an audience of
business angels, VCs, entrepreneurs and captains of industry, will decide which startup will win the
title of World Champion, taking home the coveted championship belt - and hopefully an
investment.

Strategic Partnership Specifics and deliverables

1. KPIs Get in the Ring
Organize a pre-selection round where startups are evaluated for participation either
face-to-face or through skype / telephone.
At least one startup, from the Endeavor Network, will be selected for the National
Final. Note: only applies when startups from the Endeavor Network enter the
competition and meet the application requirements.
Provide Endeavor with the application requirements of the competition for startups
Provide Endeavor with more information about the National Final and a briefing for
startups and jury members
Provide Endeavor with a minimum of 3 VIP seats for the national & regional final
Provide Endeavor exposure at the National Final as Network Partner

2. KPIs Endeavor
Select at least 5 startups that apply for the National Final of Get in the Ring: Saudi
Arabia
Attend the National & Regional Final of Get in the Ring with at least 3 VIPs
Promote both the National and Regional Final of Get in the Ring through social media
and in the Endeavor (member) network.
Endeavor will provide 1 jury member (CEO of Endeavor) for the National Final
Send high resolution logo
