the Industrialist Vittal Mallya , he is the chairman of the United Breweries Group and Kingfisher Airlines . His united
spirits is world's second largest liquor maker ,by volume. Mallya is also an Mp in the Rajya Sabha. He also co-owns the
formula one team Force India, the Indian premier league team Banglore Royal challengers, the I- League teams Mohun

Lagna lord Saturn being 12th lord also for Kumba lagna occupies 10th house in vrischika rasi with Rahu who is exalted
in this rasi. According to Hora Shastra a sloka is said in 18th chapter -30th
Keedathu bendana vhadhabaaku chapalo agrunashcha ie imprisonment ,whipping, capricious and merciless

Jupiter is in 7th house which is a Kendra position[Quadrant] indicates income coming from public. Though in bhava
chart we can clearly notice Jupiter occupies 6th house in deep exaltation position in karkitaka rasi [Cancer] gave him
auspicious results in his Jupiter Maha dasa period which was from 16-04-1987 to 16-04-2003. Jupiter being an exalted

Mr Vijaya Mallya entered politics in the sub period of 3rd lord Mars in Jupiter Maha dasa which was from 16-12-1999 to
21.11.2000. Mars being the significator for boldness and courage also from 3rd house of a horoscope, says about
younger siblings, valour, bravery, assistants, neck, right ear, crooked mind,helpers etc. Mars [Kuja] though is the
sigificator [Karaka] of 3rd house and also 3rd and 10th lord in his horoscope made him enter into politics. He entered
politics in the year 2000 as a member of the Janatha party . His party contested almost 224 seats during the Karnataka

ie in prasna or in horoscope such bhavas are associated with or aspected by their appropriate lords or benefics are
said to thrive well.So here6th lord Moon[Chandra] ,the planet is said to increase debt, losses etc. Going through the
dasa of lagna aspecting 6th lord Moon will give very much tough experiences in this period of Saturn.

2012 PRESENT SITUATION
Being born in Sravana Nakshatra [Tiruvonam]- 2nd Pada belonging to makara rasi , at present for Makara rasi Saturn
is transiting in the 10th house[Tula rasi,Libra] from 16.11.2011 to 3.11.2014 and also currently going through the Subperiod of Venus from 5.02.2010 to 7.04.2013. Venus though a yogakaraka planet but being a gulika bhava lord and
aspected by 12th lord Saturn will bring huge losses for him. It seems its gonna be really tough time for Mr Mallya.
YOGAS
Shakata Yoga : Jupiter occupies in 8th from the moon forms this evil yoga. This yoga in the horoscope gives huge
financial losses and will have difficulties in keeping money.

The prasna was done on Monday , Malayalam year-1187 Meenam-27th , Thiidhi Chathurthy of Krishna paksha,
Kalahora lord- Sani[Saturn], Udaya lagna Simha Rasi [Chingam,Leo], Arudam Kanya Rasi, Gulika rasiSimha[Chinga, Leo].The obtained Rasi during Prasna analysis was Kanya Rasi. Rasi lord Mercury[Budha] is in
7th house[Meena], a bhadha rasi, debilitated with 12th lord Sun. Mahabhadha lord being Mars occupied in 12th house
aspecting aruda lord & 12th lord sun makes the situation more tougher. According to Prasna Saravali it clearly says
that if an aruda lord itself occupies bhadha rasi then , all these problems are created by a person himself .
The first thing to look in any prasna is nothing but the grace of the almighty . Sarveeswara Karaka Jupiter in 8th house
which is a dustaana[3,6,8 & 12th houses are dustaanas] is not at all a favourable situation. Jupiter represents the one
supreme divinity. If he is favourable ,all the deities will favour the native and if not the results will be viceversa. I am

In Hora the same result must be said for both Sun & Mars if they occupy the 12th house .So there will be downfall.Also

house[ Sarva Pranaasha bhava].11th lord moon debilitated and occupies Mahabhadha rasi {Vrischika, Scorpio} with
Rahu which caused there a Grahana yoga. If the 11th lord have enough strength in a Prasna Analysis then good
fortune must be said. But here 11th lord moon goes into deep debilitation.From the 9th house luck must be said. 9th
lord Venus[Sukra] is in 9th itself but has got the aspect of debilitated Moon, Grahana Karaka Rahu& joins with kethu
says about the bad luck experience.
WILL THE PROBLEMS GET SOLVED IN FUTURE ?
While predicting future we should analyse Udaya lagna. According to Traditional Kerala Prasna astrology if Udaya
lagna becomes 2nd ,6th ,8th or 12th then it is as Arudam Tadayukka means the Prasna aruda gets blocked. The
sloka says
Danashaya deva kopena, Vairakshayam shatrubhadhayaRandrasya pitrukopasya, Dwadasam prethabhadaya
So there is no much positive results seen while analysing prasna.
From the 4th house vehicles, houses, buildings, happiness should be said. Here 4th lord Jupiter also being a bhadhaka
lord occupies 8th house which is said as the house of destruction , is aspected by 6th lord Saturn. So these
combination says he will have to sell out most of his vehicles,buildings etc.To conclude its better not to start any new
ventures & the present business on which he is involved must be well planned and executed so that the negative
impact can be reduced. Also some sudden remedial measures have to be done to avoid the negative effect of Saturn
and other planets which bring him troubles.
Note- I have mentioned here the slokas which are from a very well known text named Hora shastra with
the chapter and sloka so that any one can refer the same.
