Conceptual Model for Diffusion

Diffusionisdefinedasthenettransportduetorandommotion.Amodelfordiffusive
fluxcanbeconstructedfromthefollowingsimpleexample.Consideraonedimensional
systemwithmotionintheXdirectiononly.AninterfaceBB'separatestworegionsof
differentconcentration, C1 and C2 =particles/volumeontheleftandrightsideofthe
