Appointment Eligible Family Members (AEFMs) (as defined below) of U.S. Government
Employees assigned to the Mission under Chief of Mission Authority are eligible for
consideration.
A U.S. Citizen EFM does not have to be residing in country to be considered, but the
sponsoring officer under COM authority does have to be officially assigned to post.
EDUCATION:
Two years of full time post secondary study at a college or university in the
field of computer science, information systems management or equivalent.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Two years in a technical or administrative position with emphasis on
operation, management and utilization of computer systems.
LANGUAGE: (this will be tested)
Level III (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is
required.
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of computer
equipment and software installed at Post. Elementary fact finding
techniques, basic systems analysis and design techniques.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security
clearance.
Ability to relate proposed projects and priorities to the capabilities
and limitations of the computer system and components.
