INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
PROGRAMME
Stella Maris College, Chennai, is offering a post graduate
certificate programme in International Business, scheduled to start
in June 2015. On successfully completing the course with
distingtion, students can seek admission to the Liverpool
Hope University Business Schools flagship post graduate degree
in the UK.
Graduates from any discipline with minimum 60 per cent marks
or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognise
university are eligible to apply. Those who have work or internship
experience will have an added advantage. During the three-month
course at Stella Maris College, students will have to attend twohour classes, five times a week. The fee for the programme is
Rs.2,00,000. On completion of the programme, students will be
awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in International Business and
will be allowed to further pursue the MBA programme at Liverpool

The IMBA programme by LHU offers an internationallyfocussed curriculum, opportunities for work placements and
consultancy projects, industry interaction and executive training.
To apply, students are required to have an IELTS score of 6.5 or
more, with a minimum of 6 in reading and writing, and 5.5 in

Application forms for admission to second year BE, B.Tech

degree courses offered in government, aided and self-financing
engineering colleges under the purview of Directorate of Technical
Education in Chennai from May 13 to June 9 on all working days
from 10 a.m to 5 p.m.
The forms costing Rs.300 for the general category will be
issued free for SCA/SC/ST candidates on provision of a selfattested copy of community certificate. The cost must be in the
form demand draft obtained not earlier than May 12 from
nationalise, schedule banks drawn in favour of The Secretary,
Second year BE, B.Tech Degree Admission-2015, Alagappa Chettiar
College of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi, payable at
Karaikudi.
The last date for receipt of filled forms is June 9. Forms may
be sent by post to the above address.
The single window counselling for lateral entry admissions will
be held at the college. Counselling will begin in the last week of
June and allotment of colleges will be done following merit and
communual reservation according to the Commissioner of
Technical Education.

KG Graduation at Madha Public School

Madha Public School celebrated its KG Graduation Day recently.
The KG choir sang a prayer song and looked smart in their caps and
gowns. They stood confidently and sang beautifully making their
teachers and parents proud. S. Tamilmani, Rtd. Deputy Director
delivered the graduation day address and distributed the degree
certificates. Guest of Honour Dr. P. Josephin Rosy Madhan,
addressed the gathering and distributed the medals. Mrs. S. Meera,
Principal dwelt on the years achievements and activities in her
annual report.
The kids entertained the audience with their performances during
the cultural extravaganza. The event came to a close with a special
dance by the children.

Annual Day Celebrations at Madha Public School

Madha Public School, Maduravoyal celebrated its Annual Day
recently. It was a memorable day for our students who had excelled
in sports, music and fine arts. The Chief Guest B. Benjamin, Deputy
Mayor, Ward No. 145 congratulated the selfless and committed
services of the school and distributed the prizes. GK, Art Director
was the Guest of Honour who appreciated our School for the exposure
given to the students in academics, cultural activities and sports in
the true sense. The programme began with a prayer song led by the
choir. Mrs. S. Meera, Principal dwelt on the years achievements and
activities in her annual report.
The students entertained the audience with a cultural programme
which commenced with a welcome dance followed by an African
dance. The Musical play Cinderella captured the hearts of the
audience. Mrs. Jayashree proposed the Vote of Thanks and expressed
her gratitude to all those who made this event a grand success.
