Introduction
& Skills
Focus
(7)
Students learn how to carry out basic tasks using the school computers. There is a focus on setting up methods of independent/paired and team
working whereby both practical and theory elements are completed. Feedback on progress is an important element. The skills developed are required
in completion of the structured tasks later in the year.

Catch-up week
This scheme introduces the new OCR Scheme of Work for AS ICT. Each block represents one week of work. The material has been adapted so that the
theory and practical modules will run alongside each other for the whole year. See individual schemes for breakdown of topics. The week split is: Autumn 7
& 7, Spring 6 & 6, and Summer 5 & 6. Based on 5 lessons of 50 minutes per week for 1 academic year (38 weeks 2 weeks work experience, 1 week

This scheme is the last for the AQA A2 ICT course. Each block represents one week of work. The material has been adapted so that the theory and
practical modules will run alongside each other for the whole year. There will be timing of topics from theory so that they complement elements that need to
be present in the coursework at that time. See individual schemes for breakdown of topics. The week split is: Autumn 7 & 7, Spring 6 & 6, and Summer 5.
Based on 5 lessons of 50 minutes per week for 1 academic year (32 weeks 2 weeks exams and 2 weeks spare/catch-up etc).
