waited and he finally called me. And I spoke with him, 22

I think, twice out of the whole entire period of all
this, the detective. He spoke with me two times, and
that was it.
I had to call him both times to force him
to talk to me. And one time I was upset and I said, I
can't believe you're not calling me. I can't believe
you haven't _. you made me wait all the way through, I
think, Easter and then after that, and you still haven't
called me, I said, Why'am I sitting here worrying and
wondering why he's still out there and ~
still ha~n,
'y isn't something going on? Idon't
thinkJou're doing your job right. 1thmk that you
shaul have done called me. Obviously, you don't care.
And if that's the point, I want another somebody -another detective to be on this case. I don't want you
to be on this case,
He called back and he said, If you want to
speak to me like that, you speak to me m my face. And
I said, I am. I can't speak to you in your face if you
don't come to talk to me, Youhaven't come to speak to
me yet. I haven't ever even seen you. I said, What's
the deal? What's ~ng on?

Q. Okay. Did you have any contact with Zane~7

A. I tlied to go to his grandmother's house
the day I found out about it, after I talked to my
daughter. I went to his grandmother's house and knocked
on the door. And as soon as I knocked on the door, she

come in or Zane would walk out, but this time she
cracked the door barely.
She peeked through the glass, and she knew
it was me. She cracked the doOr barely and said, What
do you want? Isaid I wanted to speak to Zane. And she
said, Zane is not here and you need to leave. And I was
like, Why'are you talking to me like this? I need to
speak With Zane or I need to speak with you.
She said, You don't need to be here. I
don't want to speak to you. You need to leave. And I
didn't know why she was acting like that. So I said,
Well, your son molested my daughter .. or your grandson
molested my daughter. You need to come outside now and
speak to me.
And she said .. that's when she walked out
the door, She said, I have a gun in the house and Ican
defend myself. You need to (eave, I said, Okay, 111
