Role Purpose

To oversee the development of the annual manpower plan based on the needs identified by the
departments in alignment with the respective strategies and organization structure, as well
operate and execute an effective and efficient resourcing process in alignment with CBUAE
talent strategy.
Principal Accountabilities

STRATEGIC

Develop CBUAE sourcing strategy based on CBUAE talent management strategy and senior
managements directives.

Ensure the development of key policies, guidelines, and systems for the function and ensure
compliance with approved guidelines.

Participate in the continuous development and improvement of business procedures to ensure


that the appropriate level of quality is achieved.

Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the function as well as the employees.

Ensure the full adherence to the departments Emiratisation plan.

OPERATIONAL

Coordinate with CBUAE Departments Heads in the identification of annual manpower


requirements, based on the approved departments strategy and organization structure.

Develop sourcing strategies to target and select the targeted group of talent.

Identify appropriate channels for sourcing qualified and capable applicants in line with CBUAE
requirements(e.g. Headhunters, CBUAE website, other recruitment websites, universities,
government departments, employment fairs, media channels, etc.)

Develop various sourcing channels by building relationships with the local community,
universities and Government Departments.

Oversee the continuous process of identifying efficient, original and cost effective recruitments
channels and methods.

Liaise with the Performance & Organization Section to ensure the development,
implementation and update of the required recruitment tools such organization structure, job
descriptions and competency framework.

Develop, implement and update assessment, selection and screening methods to ensure the
effectiveness of the process.

Oversee the posting/announcement of vacancies and the screening of submitted CVs in addition

to building and maintaining and active CVs database.

Oversee the coordination with the Departments Heads on screening and interviewing the
selected candidates and the documentation of assessment reports.

Oversee the coordination with the Compensation & Employee Relations section to develop the
job offer after finalizing the compensation negotiation with the candidates, and hand the offer
to the candidate after explaining the terms and conditions.

Ensure the coordination with the concerned departments to complete all the activities related to
relocation and joining CBUAE effectively and on a timely manner (immigration, tickets,
housing, shipment..).

Lead the development and implementation of an effective orientation and on-boarding program
for all new joiners in coordination with the concerned departments.

Ensure the following of the key developments in recruitment tools, processes, and procedures
and update internal processes as required and make amendments when required.

Perform any other duties within the scope of work.

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT

Assign tasks and responsibilities and empower subordinates to make informed decisions and
take prompt actions when necessary.

Provide coaching, guidance and mentoring as required to enhance the internal capabilities and
build competencies.

Promote a team working environment and collaboration.

Education & Experience Profile


Graduate Degree in Human Resources/Business Administration or other relevant discipline.

8-10 years experience, with at least 6 years experience in a similar role.

4+ years working experience in the UAE, with strong familiarity with the UAE labor market and
regulations.

Proficient in Arabic and a good command of English.

Excellent knowledge of recruitment laws, legal codes and Government regulations.

Excellent knowledge of relevant best practices and new trends.
