HIGHLIGHTS

• Current position, Fleet Manager in the Mid West South, successfully merged two regions for fleet operations
and outside vendor control, along with the fusion of the two regions, service was increased to higher standards
through business planning and development. Process improvements produced reliability ratings from 2.8% to
0.23%, PM compliance from 88.2% to 98.9%, DOT audit average from 89% to 98.6% and P&L better then
plan. On the corporate fleet audit we scored highest national at 83% the national average is 77% with a 985 out
of 1000 points at some locations. Managing 24 employees a Fleet Service Center and over 1,000 commercial
vehicles in one region and 1,200 assets in the Southern region.

• In Iraq developed from concept through implementation a maintenance program in support of the Marines
Expeditionary Forces. Implemented maintenance plans and procedures that boosted combat readiness from
74% to 97%, improved vehicle readiness, reduced shop time from 17.8 days to 3.5 days and zero mission
failures.

• Railroad Manager achieved significant improvements in training, quality, reliability, repair, service time, mean
time between failures, and on-time performance while leading the world’s largest rail yard to maintain a zero
injury rate. Was selected to serve as plant manager at another location for a one-year term contract.

• Plant Manager did planning led the start-up of a new diesel shop, providing advice on facility layout and
configuration as well as tracking project progress to ensure on-time completion.

• I have strong management, leadership skills that have proven results, performing analytical, quantitative,
communication, to include technical skills on the trucks, having been a mechanic previously on automotives

Currently a Region Fleet Manager, maintain full P&L responsibility for the region. I developed, implement and
monitor the fleet processes and strategies and support Sales and Operations to maximize Fleet performance. I am
responsible for day to day fleet activity, to include a FSC that supports two Regions, the Mid West South and the
Central Gulf; I also have responsibility of the Over The Road Traffic Center in Topeka. That includes all assets,
shop maintenance, technician engagement, and all related facets of Fleet Operations (i.e. asset planning, budget
management, fuel conservation, vendor management, safety, productivity, environmental management, financial
performance, and Sarbanes Oxley controls). Key accountabilities include managing preventative maintenance
programs, training initiatives, national compliance and regional/national initiatives that impact the performance of
the business in areas of cost, quality and reliability. In addition, as the Fleet Manager I have recruited and develop
fleet Admin’s and technicians throughout the Region, manage outside vendors eliminating high cost non productive
