Rehabilitacin de la agrafia en un paciente

con lesin en el hemisferio derecho

Resumen
En presente trabajo se analizan las alteraciones y los resultados de la rehabilitacin de la escritura
en un paciente con lesin en el hemisferio derecho. Se trata de un paciente zurdo con educacin
superior que sufri una lesin parieto-temporal del hemisferio derecho. El cuadro clnico del paciente
se caracteriz por alteraciones de la escritura y de las representaciones de las imgenes de los
objetos. Como mecanismo o factor de estas dificultades, identificamos la desintegracin de la
estructura simultnea global de la imagen. Sobre esta base se elabor un programa de rehabilitacin
fundamentado en los principios de la escuela neuropsicolgica de Luria y sus seguidores. Dicho
programa incluy la presentacin de la palabra en forma de esquema materializado, lo que permiti
al paciente concientizar y recuperar gradualmente la imagen global de la palabra escrita. Los
resultados de la evaluacin final, despus de la rehabilitacin, mostraron la desaparicin de los
errores en la escritura, tales como omisin y sustitucin de vocales, unin de palabras y oraciones y
prdida de los lmites de las palabras.

Abstract
The objective of the present work is to analyse alterations of writing and to report the results of the
neuropsychological rehabilitation in a case of a patient with lesion in right hemisphere. The study
refers to lefthanded patient with higher education who has suffered parieto-temporal lesion in right
hemisphere. The clinical picture is characterised by deffects in the process of writing and in
representation of images of objects. The authors suppose that in the main cause of such alterations
are desintegration of simultanious structure of the global image. The program of rehabilitation is
based on methodology of neuropsychological school of Luria and his group. The program of
rehabilitation uses the presentation of the word in form of external scheme. Such scheme permits to
the patient to take conscious of the global image of written word and to re-establish it gradually. The
results of final evaluation, after rehabilitation, showed dissappearance of the errors observed
previously: substitution and absence of vocals, union of words and sentences, and losing of limits of
words.
