Pre-Law/Trial Advocacy - an introduction to the American


legal system and the various types of law - Contract Law, Tort
Law, Constitutional Law and Criminal Law. Member of a mock
trial team where we learned the basics regarding the rules of
evidence, when objections are appropriate, how to direct and
cross-examine a witness, and how to prepare opening and
closing statements. 3-credit course.
Off-Shore Habitat Study - studied marine science topics:
* Nutrient analysis, * Navigation, * Marine mammals in Long
Island Sound, * Physical and chemical oceanography,
