HR/PR Consultant

Supported implementation efforts for the Mincom Ellipse ERP HR/PR and time and attendance system. Mincom
is a global ERP software and services provider with a focus on mining and transportation industry clients.

Project Summary:

• Conducted business process analysis sessions with clients to determine system set up requirements.
• Developed client specific Functional Design documents, Business Requirement Statements, and Business
Solution Design documentation.
• Determined and documented system data conversion and interface requirements.
• Configured the system according to design specifications, tested system operations and validated the
results.

Project Summary:

• Supported the sales effort for a global payroll outsourcing project. Collected and summarized survey data
and developed associated analytical reports and presentations.
• Analyzed and documented the specifications for the PeopleSoft to ADP EV2 interface. Identified and
mapped the required data fields.
• Developed the functional interface specifications between the mainframe PeopleSoft payroll system and
ADP EV2. Analyzed interface implementation issues and determined workable resolutions.
• Assisted in the implementation efforts for the ADP EV3 payroll system. Developed functional
specifications for specialized processes, built system foundation tables, and set up company and
employee level tables. Tested and validated completed SQR’s. Created process flow charts and
associated documentation. Developed system documentation and conducted user training sessions.

INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT 1997 to 2002


Project Manager and Senior Functional Consultant

Serviced a variety of clients in the implementation and upgrade of Time and Attendance, Payroll/Human
Resources, and Benefit ERP systems.

Project Summary:

• Supported the parallel reconciliation and conversion resolution activities required to


convert Payroll/HR/Benefits to ADP Enterprise software (EV2). Resolved paycheck
discrepancies and conversion errors.
• Managed and directed the functional and technical implementation efforts of the
CyberShift Time and Attendance system interfacing with the PeopleSoft HR/Payroll
system. Created the project plan and monitored milestones
• Set up a SQL server test server. Installed SmartStream financial and HR/PR/Benefits
software in the test environment. Migrated data from the production system to the test
system. Tested system operations and verified data integrity.
• Assisted in the Y2K upgrade efforts of the SmartStream financial system application from version 4.1 to 6.0.2.
Tested existing report structures in DSS query and reporter and made modifications as required.
• Led the SmartStream HR/PR/Benefits software implementation efforts. Developed the project plan and
monitored tasks and achievements. Created and developed policies and procedures for payroll operations.
Trained client staff on software functionality.
• Coordinated efforts to define and develop an internally created Skills Inventory
Tracking system using Microsoft Access. Client specifications were determined and
integrated with the Human Resources skill tracking system.

• Managed payroll processing activities for the salaried and hourly staff. Responsibility for all
payroll related tasks from timeheet input to check disbursement.
• Directed the Federal, State and Local taxing authority payment process.

• Served as Project Lead for the selection and implementation of a Time and Attendance system.
