Lesley, age 37, is a Haitian male who accompanied

his girlfriend (age 25) to Gateway. He committed
his life to Christ at age 15. She is not a believer. He
has recently been convicted about premarital sex.
They’ve been dating for more than two years. We
discussed what it means to live for Christ.

Real Life Stories of our recent

ministry to Haitian Americans
Katie, age 25 visited Maddie, age 36, is a believer trying to walk with the Lord. She
Gateway in January with has six relatives, including her brother, who dies in the
her husband James. When earthquake. She has trusted Christ for three years. She and her
she found out she was husband split up around the time of her conversion. The father of
pregnant she began crying, this child is a man she met in church. We encouraged her to trust
fearing provision for the Christ for purity in her life. She’s due in September. Because
baby. Both Katie and she’s a believer she will not abort.
James lost family in the
Haitian earthquake. We
gave them a Creole New
Testament.
