A creative learning: The Cognitive Style Learning
Nowadays, each person has a capacity unique and individual of learning because all the
human beings are different. Likewise, our learning styles are associated to the strategies that we use
to learn something. Thus, in our world, there are many kinds of learning styles. However, there is a
kind of learning style that it is how the person acquires knowledge. This is the cognitive learning
styles. According to this learning style, there are three main cognitive learning styles: Visual;
Auditory; and Kinesthetic.
Visual Style is a cognitive learning style in which your ideas, your concepts, and other
information are associated with pictures, and learning techniques. For instance, if you are a visual
learner, you can learn better with diagrams, films, and videos because you can remember what you
see rather than what you hear. In the same way, the visual learners like art more than music because
they use colours to highlight important points in their notes. Furthermore, these people are able to
memorize, and recall different information because they have much imagination.

Auditory Style is a cognitive learning style in which a person learns through listening. For
example, if you are an auditory learner, you can learn better when you are speaking and hearing.
Likewise, the auditory learners love music more than art because when they are studying, they can
do it with music. Also, they use tape recorders because they love listening to themselves.
Kinesthetic Style is a cognitive learning style in which learning takes place by the student

carrying out a physical activity. For example, if you are a kinesthetic learner, you can learn better
when you touch something or when you practice something as the dancers. Also, I think that it is
very important for children because when they are in the kindergarten, they can develop their
abilities with the different materials that they can use as the plasticine. Furthermore, they usually
prefer group work more than others.

To conclude, I think that everyone processes and learns new information in different ways.
Best of all, it is very important that each person uses the best cognitive learning style due to the
person can learn better. Also, each learning style has its own characteristics and differences. Then,
you have to know what cognitive learning style you can develop to have a very good performance
in your studies and in your life.
