Interfacing to Wireless module JN5148
(Zigbee@2.4GHz)
Description: The system is installed on Railway platform. Its function is to
receive Train Number and Coach Number data from control room and display
on LED display to guide the passengers to their respective coach of the
train they will travel. The system uses wireless transceiver module
(Zigbee@2.4GHz) to transmit and receive data through wireless link. The
wireless module can join up to 10 adjacent jennic wireless modules.
Each jennic wireless module has a unique MAC ID. Jennic wireless module
can be configured as coordinator/Router and End Device.
Responsibilities:
Design, Development and testing Display unit.
Developed applications for LED Display unit.

Micro Controller

: ARM Controller (LPC2378)

Standard Protocols

:MODBUS BUS, RS232 for debugging.

Description: The Engineer unit is an ARM7TDMI Controller based signalprocessing unit. This unit consists of Front-end Circuitry module accepts the
analog signals from various sensors such as Thermo Couple, Pressure, Full Level,
and Flow. The ADC of high speed 12/14-bit preceded by a MUX is externally
interfaced to the controller module, will convert the signals from analog to digital
data. The Engineer Unit firmware will continuously process various Temperature
sensors, oil pressure sensors and twelve thermocouple inputs. This processed data
will be send through RS485 data bus for every minute.

Responsibilities:
Design, Development and testing Engineer unit.
Developed applications for Engineer unit.
Design technical Documentation of the project.

Description: Integrated Avionics Module is an integrated module of an

onboard computer (OBC) and Missile Interfacing unit (MIU). Fully tested OBC
and MIU card will be mounted on the motherboard of IAM and a Relay
interfacing card and a Power supply card is used to switch power to both the
cards. The onboard computer and missile interfacing unit uses approved MIL
standard protocols to communicate with each other and they are responsible
for controlling different subsystems of the missile.
Responsibilities:
H/W Design development and testing.
Prepared functional test reports
Involved in Environmental tests.
ATP and QTP of the units as per Military standards (specific to Min. of

: MIU(Missile Interface Unit)

:PGAD (Min. of Defense), Hyderabad.
:87C196KC

Description: The system is intended to read various vehicle (missile)

parameters including the battery voltages, pressure sensor values, and
various relay statuses. Further, the digital outputs are used to switch power
to various sub systems, and fire pyros. It interfaces to the OBC via the 1553
interface. This system is realized based on 87C196KC Micro Controller
operating at 19.6608MHz. It consists of 32KB EEPROM, 22KB RAM and RS422
serial port. Power monitoring along with Watchdog timer for reliable
operation, Provision for On-Board Programming EEPROM. It also consists of
16 ADC channels, 8 DAC channels, 48 DOP channels and 40 DIP channels.
This system receives analog signals from various subsystems, converts into
digital form, processes the data and generates necessary signals using DAC
to control the devices.

Responsibilities:
Embedded Hardware & Software Design and Development.
ATP and QTP of the units as per JSS standards (specific to Min. of
Defense).

Education and Qualification:

Master of Science in Embedded Systems form LACE at
United Kingdom.
Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics &Communications
from VISVESVARAYA INSTITUTION OF SCIENCE AND TECNOLOGY.
Intermediate in MPC from SRI CHAITANYA JUNIOR COLLEGE.
SSC from ST.MARKS HIGH SCHOOL.
