SPECIFICATION
Project : Abt. 3900 Multi-purpose cargo vessel, EU Flag, ocean going single-deck,
box type, open hatch, double hull with complete set of twin-deck pontoons of which
two will be used vertically and have three natural separations in hold. Vessel’s hold
bottom and hatch covers will be equipped with container fittings.

1.5 COMPLEMENT

1.6 HULL CONSTRUCTION
The vessel to be of all welded steel construction and all structural work to
be designed and constructed in accordance with the Classification Society's
requirements.
The scantlings of hull structural members to be in accordance with the
requirements of specified Classification Society.
Tank top uniform shall be designed for loading 18T/M2
The vessel will be fitted with Pontoon hatch covers both on deck and tween-deck.

1.7 CORROSION PROTECTION

All steel plates and profiles shall be supplied cleaned by shot blasting to SA
2.5 of SIS and immediately primer with one coat shop primer applied to dry
film thickness of 15-20 microns in accordance with the manufacture's
recommendation.

1.13 FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT
Cargo hold fixed CO2 fire extinguisher and fixed sprinkler system. Accommodation
portable fire extinguisher as per ship flag/class rules and wheel marked. Engine room
equipped with Sea water, fixed CO2 extinguishers and portable fire extinguishers.
All above as per EU rules
1.14 AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
2 sets complete separate Ain con systems of sufficient power
1.15 MECHANICAL VENTILATION (SUPPLY & EXHAUST SYSTEMS)

A-60 deck covering zone to be of silicate board type with A-60 fire
insulation.

1.18 REFRIGERANT PLANT
The refrigerant plant shall be provided with Two (2) compressor units with
one (1) working and one (1) stand by.

1.22 MAIN MACHINERY
The vessel shall be deigned as single screw propulsion driven by one diesel engine.
Electric power shall be supplied by 2 sets AC diesel generator plus 1 shaft generator
Steam required for heating of fuel shall be generated by means of an auxiliary boiler
and
Exhaust gas boiler.
