Students will be quietly sitting in a

circle in the middle of the gym
floor waiting for instructions.
Explain the activity, which are stations. There will be five different stations.
Jordan will help teacher demonstrate each activity by moving to each
station.
1. Partner Catch and Throw
- One student will stand on one line while another student
stand at about 10 feet way. Students will catch and throw
ball.
2. Air Toss and Clap
- Each student will have a ball. They will throw the ball into
the air and count how many times they can clap until the
ball returns to their hands.
3. Single Hand Catches
- Student one will be kneeling and will have ten tennis balls
that they will toss to student two. Student two will stand
with one hand behind and have the other hand ready to
catch the ball. If the ball is caught, they will place the ball
in the box. Student two will try to catch five balls with the
left hand and then with the right. After one student has
caught ten balls, switch position.
4. Jumper
- This is a monkey in the middle type of game. Two
students will stand in the middle while two other students
stand on the edges. The two students on the edges will
throw the ball to each other without allowing the other two
students in the middle from catching the ball. If the
student in the middle intersects the ball the student to
have last thrown it will be in the middle.
5. Toss and Claw
- Students will practice tossing with their right hand and as
the handkerchief comes down, they will claw to catch the
handkerchief with their left hand. They will both toss and
catch with both hands.
The class will be divided into four groups. The teacher will count and
assign a number to each student: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 to divide them into four
groups.
Group one will go to station one: Partner Catch and Throw
Group two will go to station two: Air Toss and Clap
