enlargedtheclassoffunctionsthatcouldbetransformedandthisremovedmanyobstacles.
FurtherdevelopmentsincludedgeneralizationoftheFourierintegral,"beginningwithPlancherel's
pathbreakingL2theory(1910),continuingwithWiener'sandBochner'sworks(around1930)andculminating
