Catholic development Fund: Recently during the Royal Commission into
Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, the Catholic Development Fund
(CDF) was referred to. The CDF is a cooperative where certain Catholic
organisations and some individuals lodge investments. Bishop Paul has written a
letter pointing out that the diocese has no access to funds lodged with the CDF except
for deposits which the diocese itself has made. A copy of the Bishops letter is in the
Gathering Space.

Assistance Needed: We are looking for volunteers to bring Communion on Sundays
to parishioners who are unable to come to Mass regularly. Also, if you know of
someone who would appreciate communion please let us know. For more

National eConference: 'Religion Catalyst for Violence or Peace' Tapping into
interfaith issues surrounding the three Abrahamic traditions: Christianity, Judaism &
Islam. The aim is to explore the potential for these traditions to cultivate peace in a
world that associates religion with violence. Tuesday, June 23rd St Joseph's Parish
Hall 10.00am 2.30pm. Further information in Gathering Space
