SAPgui and Kerberos Tickets

1. In most cases, SAPgui will bring up the Ticket Viewer to prompt you to obtain Kerberos tickets.
2. If SAPgui stalls at "Connecting..." or your SAPgui session freezes, it may be that you do not have Kerberos tickets or that your
Kerberos tickets have expired.
3. Launch Kerberos Ticket Viewer (Applications > Utilities > Ticket Viewer).
4. Enter your Kerberos username (the first part of your @mit.edu email address), and your Kerberos password (the password
used to check your @mit.edu email).
NOTE: Your Kerberos tickets will last for 10 hours only, and have to be manually renewed if you wish to remain in SAP longer.
If you do wish to remain in SAP longer than 10 hours, it's a good idea to renew them at least 20 minutes or so before they
expire.
5. If SAPgui remains unresponsive, you may need to 'Force Quit' the application.
a. Follow the menu path Apple > Force Quit.
Result: A popup window appears with a list of applications.
b. Select SAPGUI.
c. Press Force Quit.
d. Press Force Quit again to confirm.
For more information, see: SAPgui appears to be frozen, prompt for Kerberos tickets is hidden behind SAPgui splash screen
