Summer is here and that means vacations, outings and

gatherings of all sorts. It is a great time of the year to enjoy the

outdoors with friends and family. I look forward to doing that and I
know you do too. Let me remind you, summer is still Gods time.
We still meet weekly for worship, praise and study. We still have
the financial and physical needs of the church just like the rest of the
year. With that in mind, enjoy your summer without neglecting
your commitment and responsibilities to God.
Fathers Day is June 21 and we have set aside that morning
for our Parent/Child dedication service. If you know of someone
who would like to participate in this service, member or not, please
contact the church office. This is a special time when we thank the
Lord for the gift of children, dedicate ourselves, as parents and as a
congregation, to the rearing of the children in the admonition of the
Lord. I am looking forward to this special time together.
I look forward every week to our time together. I hope to
see each of you this Sunday in worship and study.

volunteers at 10:00 Monday-Thursday mornings to help count the
change that is collected each night. If you are willing to help any of
these mornings, please see Stacey or call the church office to volunteer.

MIGRANT MINISTRY HELP NEEDED

Matthew 25:35-40; take a moment to read this. Then ask
yourself, What can I do this week to visit, clothe, heal
and feed Gods children we call migrant farm workers?
Volunteers are needed in morning and evening sessions to
meet those very needs here. No experience or extra language skills are required. Just an obedient heart and a
willing spirit. We still need good mens pants, waist size
30-34. Call me or Dian to volunteer.

JOHNNY PAYNES CONCERT

I dont need to share my appreciation to those of you who
worshipped under the leadership of Johnny Payne last Sunday
night. The blessing of Gods Spirit that night was enough!
Pray for Johnny and the Friendship House of Jesus Ministries and St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where he serves.
Praise God from whom all blessing flow!

SAINTS ALIVE TO SHARE

Thanks for a great morning of service and ministry as you
shared at Riverside Place and Bainbridge Healthcare last
Monday. My spirit was stirred as one of the residents
shouted Thank You, Jesus! at the conclusion of one of
our songs. We are blessed to be a blessing.
We will meet at 9:15 AM Monday, June at WILLOWRIDGE, 801 Faceville Road. I will bring our books and
music. After singing at WILLOW RIDGE, we will
travel to THE MANOR AT BAINBRIDGE MEDICAL
CENTER, and share with the residents there.

VBS Change War

It's back! We are doing a Boys vs. Girls Change War again this year
to raise funds for the Georgia Baptist Children's Home. Nightly
winners will be determined by weight. The team that wins the most
nights will win overall. In the event of a tie, the total amount of
money raised by each team will break it. If the boys win, Ms. Stacey
will be turned into a human hot dog and be covered in mustard and
ketchup. If the girls win, Mr. Jeff will have that honor. Start bringing
your offering on Sunday night, June 14!

VBS Parent Night Thursday, June 18 6:30 pm Youth Building

Come and see what we have done all week! Children will receive a
certificate and the human hot dog will be revealed! No supper served this
night.

What's Happening:

June 9 Preschool Picnic
June 14-17 VBS

SNAC this Sunday night after the evening service is

at the home of Darren and Tammy Deal. We will have
plenty of food, fun, and swimming. Make plans to
attend.
MERGE 2015 is less than 3 weeks away. I will have
two opportunities for parents to attend an informational
meeting. The first is this Sunday, June 7th, at 5:00 in
the youth building. The second meeting is the following
Wednesday, June 10th, at 5:30 also in the youth
building. The same information will be covered at both
meeting so choose the one that best fits your schedule.
Next Wednesday will be a fun night as we kickoff
our summer schedule for our "640" gathering. We will
meet together at 6:40 in the youth building. We will
have hamburgers, hot dogs, and drinks. Also during this
night we will have an intense game of kickball with a
twist as well as other games. So come ready to get wet
(not swim) and messy. Our goal this summer is to spend
Wednesday nights together enjoying the fellowship of
our church. Make these nights a priority during the
summer.

Blessings,
Jeff
