Definitions
a dual-focused educational approach in
which an additional language is used for the
learning and teaching of both content and
language (Coyle, Hood, Marsh 2010)

CLIL (Content and Language

Integrated Learning)
to introduce children to content areas such as Art,
Science, Music or Physical Education using a
foreign language,
to focus on learning content in a foreign language,
rather than learning the language itself,
dual-focused education (the subject, topic, or
theme and the language)

in a natural way (e.g.animals: omnivores,
herbivores or carnivores)
