detachable cooler units
Confirm that all valves are made of Gun Metal.

Confirm that all gasketed joints are with earth

continuity through copper strips.

Indicated as item no. 123
Please note that valves upto 50 NB
shall be of Gun metal. All valves
above 50 NB shall be of Cast steel
with Gun metal fittings. This is our
standard practice and followed for all
projects of NTPC/POWERGRID and
also the earlier supplies to JINDAL.
Please note that the Copper strips are
provided at Tank, turret joints etc.
Other joints get the earth continuity
through nut-bolts etc.

Confirm that all drain valves shall be with

threaded adopter.

Indicate the size of Earthing Connection for

item no. 212a and 110.
Indicate Transformer Marshalling Box.
Item no. 181 (HV Terminal Connector) shall
be suitable for TWIN Moose ACSR.
Provide Pressure Relief device with trip contact.
Confirm Explosion Vent shall be double
diaphragm type.
Correct the Name of the Project.
Indicate breather.
Submit other drawings as listed.
Direction of Transformer Withdrawal will be
opposite left hand side to Cooling Bank. Change
the foundation plan accordingly.
Indicate item no. 007: Pump Support on
foundation plan.
Indicate Oil Filling Instruction Plate on OGA

valves at Top & Bottom with
