ExxonMobil : Summary: This project entailed redesigning a Qualified Manufacturer

List held in an Excel file and various PDF files. First I built a functional Access
database to consolidate the information from both the Excel and PDF files. This
result was migrated to a SQL server to be accessed from the corporate intranets
SharePoint site using ASPX pages, and a desktop Access application. Corporate
users have restricted aceess to the data via the setup data security.

Geokinetics : I developed a template using VBA code in Excel to put the various
worksheets in an Excel Fee Build Up into an acceptable format for upload into an
Oracle database system. I worked closely with the members of the Oracle team to
develop this acceptable format. This FBU is used in various countries around the
world. The uploader program is used to upload North American, Latin American,
and Australian exploration projects into Oracle which allows for a better cost
analysis to take place which in turn saves the company millions of dollars and
makes them more competitive in their bidding processes.

Shell Oil & Gas : Summary: Designed several Access databases which produced
analytical financial reports based on user selected criteria. The data from these
databases was used to produced MS Excel charts or pivot tables, so the data could
be more quickly analyzed. The quicker analysis led to better decisions being made
and several million dollars will be saved both currently and into the future.
Another project that was designed was to decommission an older existing non-Access
application..

CenterPoint Energy : Summary: Erik Loebl (EL) worked to build SQL Server
applications and MS Access database applications. EL built in department data
driven intranet site with SQL as the database and an internet site to accept
contractor inspections. EL extracted data from an SAP system and produced
analytical, intuitive reports for the managers that saved hundreds of thousands of
dollars!
Reliant Energy : Summary: LoeblCom Services was responsible for performing data
analysis, reporting and information management, as well as process improvement
which resulted in big financial savings for this customer. The following list includes
some of LoeblCom Services accomplishments:
HVAC : Summary: EL used the VBA language to produce an MS Excel program
which analyzes and merges 2 text files (both dealing with air conditioning
information), perform various calculations, and produce an output in a usable
format.
Construction : Summary: LoeblCom Services designed an Access database which
tracked current membership and the classes they attended, committees they served
on, the dues they paid, events they were involved in, and other information relevant
to each member.
Medical : Texans Childrens Hospital Summary: LoeblCom Services designed a MS
Access database to track and record the amount of hours a physician worked at a
specific clinic.

Summary: This database project was an upgrade a MS Access 95 application to MS

Access 97 database then to MS Access 2000 then to a MS SQL Server with an Access
2000 project as the front end. The database contained real estate information, and
was migrated by LoeblCom Services to a MS SQL Server database. EL created all the
views, stored procedures and backup plan for the database. The tables were
imported using SQL Servers DTS feature. The performance of the database was
increased substancially and it can be accessed from the web.

Education/Training : Summary: LoeblCom Services provided MS software

applications, VBA, and VB training for this education company.
PR Media : Media Candy PR
Summary: LoeblCom Services provided Access
consultation for troubleshooting strategies with current database. Help required
issues with joins and duplicated data on past imports, etc.

Painting : R & M Service Company Inc. Summary: LoeblCom Services provided

Access consultation for paint bidding application. This was an Excel project dealing
with usability (VBA code issues) when upgrading from a prior version of Excel.

Automotive : Friedkin Companies / Gulf States Toyota

Summary: LoeblCom
Services provided Access consultation to provide enhancements and advice for a
current database implementation. New enhancements sped up productivity over
60%. I also built a automotive parts forecasting database tool to better manage parts
and accessory orders. I have also been involved with automotive advertising and
programmatic website manipulation using PHP and Python.
