Join members of the Piccadilly Symphony for an onstage
orchestral extravaganza. Open to players of all orchestral
instruments, play parts from pre-grade 1 to grade 4-5
so that everybody can play their part in a massed
performance of Beethovens resounding Symphony No.5
and Stravinskys beautiful Firebird Suite some of the
BBCs Ten Pieces shown to primary schools nationally
this year.

a lifelong love affair, an indescribable joy, and
occasionally, a cross to bear.

Add your favourite instrument to a string of musical
bunting, which well display at the Hall in our new season.

Mini-tours of the building take you deep down to our
weird undercroft, where springs protect the music
from the sounds of the city outside; backstage to artists
changing areas, and into the main auditorium, where
youll see the stage being set up for the evening concert
and learn how a performance comes together.

meet our tour guides to find out whats going on
11.30am Acoustic tour find out why the building
is built on giant springs, and visit them in our weird
undercroft
12.15pm Backstage tour a trip behind the scenes, to
see the dressing rooms used by top performers
