SCOPE
The scope of this procedure covers the control of
installation of Bored Cast-in-Situ Concrete piles
executed by a sub-contractor.

PROCEDURE

Method Statement:
A method statement shall be submitted by the piling
Sub-contractor for approval which shall include:

Construction Programme:
SubThe sub-contractor shall submit a programme for contracto
approval based on the Contract Programme. The r
subcontractor shall also indicate the mobilisation
time of plant, equipment, materials and work force.

Piling Sequence:

Approval of piling sequence will be given prior to
commencement of piling by the Subcontractor.
Setting-Out:
HEE will execute pre-piling setting out and offer for
cross-checking by Subcontractors Surveyor and
Consultants Representative.

Source Certificates:
Reinforcement steel and Bentonite test certificates if Project
required shall be obtained from the Subcontractor Engineer
and, submitted for approval by the Consultant.

Project
Cube results will be assessed and retained. The cube Engineer/
test reports shall be clearly identified with the Labtech.

Inspection of Work/Checksheet:
The work shall be inspected using the attached
checksheet as Appendix FOUN/04/A which shall be QA/QC
completed as verification and record of compliance.

The Subcontractor shall carry out a load test and
integrity test as specified in the Contract.
