PETER CIBAK
Peter moved from Liptovsky Mikulas
to Bratislava to study photography
at the Academy of Fine Arts. He
graduated in 2011. In his work he
focuses on new technologies and their
impact on the photographic medium.
His series, Zygota depicts a power
relationship between administrator
and user.
This relationship unites virtual
reality and traditional photographic
images. I would like to point out that
cyberspace is not just an alternative
view of reality.

VIOLA FATYOL
Viola lives and works in Budapest.
She graduated with a master degree
in photography from Moholy-Nagy
University of Art and Design in 2011.
Her series Orando et laborando
Praying and working is based on
personal memories surrounding her
experiences at the Reformed College
of Debrecen. Through her work she
shows us the world of the school in an
artistic light.
My aim was to put the values of
the alma mater on a pedestal and to
show how important the influence of a
religious school might be.
The artist thanks the present
students for their great help on this
project.

SVETOSLAV IVANOV
Svetoslav was born in 1974. He
lives in Varna, Bulgaria. Photography
has been one his main interests since
the mid 80s. During this time he
developed skills in digital retouching
and manipulation.
The coast is a symbol of an end
and a beginning, a place where we
forget some dreams and find others.
My series The Coast of Lost Thoughts
is an expression of the lost dreams
of voyages, boundless knowledge,
the value of time, home comfort and
ultimately an escape from death.

KATARZYNA NIEDWIECKA
Katarzyna lives in Cracow, Poland.
She graduated from Cracow School of
Art and Fashion Design with a degree
in Creative Photography.
The project The animal called
human imagines a time when animal
behaviour becomes more human than
people. It expresses stories from my
mind.
Her work is a combination of the
digital photomontage and gum print.
The latter technique is regarded
as noble, originating from the 19th
century.

ALEXANDRA VACAROIU
Alexandra is 21 years old. During
her foreign language studies, she
realized that photography was her
true passion. She decided to put
her heart and energy into it and
study Photography at the National
University of Arts in Bucharest,
Romania.
The Unconscious Body Movements
series looks at dreams and the
traces they leave behind. Sheet
folds are proof of unconscious body
movements; they hide sensations we
experience while dreaming.
On every curve lies the story of each
dream, some of which we could never
experience in reality. The photographs
are like a map of our dreams. We can
read the sheet folds and remember.

ADLA VOSIKOV
Adela was born in Prague in
1985. She began her photographic
education in 2005, when she attended
lectures at the Department of
Photography at the Graphic School
in Prague and then later as a student
of the Department of Photography
at FAMU. Currently she continues
her studies at the cole nationale
suprieure dart de la Villa Arson, Nice,
France.
The project Adela Vosickova started
when I thought about ones name as a
representation or a portrait. Selected
people spoke the artists name Adela
Vosickova while pressing their lips
against the photographic paper after
using lip balm. The photographs show
traces of their lips movements. The
work was created by using black and
white photographic material. It is a
self-portrait through another persons
gestures, as well a portrait of their
own.

mental disorders such as schizophrenia, split personality and

referring to the mans damaged brain. Every photograph is
made out of dozens of images.
