ADDENDUM TO EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
Between
THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE
PARMA CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT
And
DR. JEFFREY M. GRAHAM
TO MODIFY PRIOR COMPENSATION PROVISIONS WHICH ARE IMPERMISSIBLE TO
THE DETRIMENT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT
This Addendum to the Employment Contract (Addendum) Between the Board of
Education (Board) of the Parma City School District (District) and Dr. Jeffrey M. Graham
(Administrator) is made and entered into on the 16th day of December, 2013, by and between
the Board and Administrator.
WHEREAS, Administrator is employed as the Superintendent of the Parma City School
District under a contract of employment (Employment Contract) for the term of August 1,
2013 through July 31, 2016;
WHEREAS, the Employment Contract requires that any modification must be in
amendment form and in writing and signed by the parties upon proper resolution of the Board;
WHEREAS, the Employment Contract contains provisions regarding compensation
which are impermissible to the detriment of the Administrator. Consequently, the Administrator
has not received the full amount of compensation set forth in the Employment Contract and the
Employment Contract must be modified accordingly.
It is hereby agreed by the Board and Administrator as follows:
1. The Board shall pay to the Administrator, as compensation for services, an annuity
selected by the Administrator from the list of annuities maintained by the District for
the deposit of employees funds (the Annuities List) an amount equal to Three
Thousand Six Hundred Sixty Three Dollars ($3,663.00) for the 2013-2014
Employment Contract year, an amount equal to Three Thousand Eight Hundred Forty
Three Dollars and Eighty-Four Cents ($3,843.84) for the 2014-2015 Employment
Contract year, and an amount equal to Four Thousand Twenty-Seven Dollars and
Thirty-Two Cents ($4,027.32) for the 2015-2016 Employment Contract year. This
annuity amount shall not be treated as reportable salary compensation to STRS.

2. The Board shall pay to the Administrator, as compensation for services, an annuity
selected by the Administrator from the list of annuities maintained by the District for
the deposit of employees funds (the Annuities List) a one-time amount equal to
Eleven Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-Nine Dollars and Eighty-Four Cents
($11,499.84). This annuity amount shall not be treated as reportable salary
compensation to STRS.
3. The existing car and administrative allowances under the existing Employment
Contract remain in effect. This amount shall not be treated as reportable salary
compensation to STRS.
4. The parties agree, acknowledge and understand that except for the modifications set
forth above, all other terms and provisions of the Employment Contract shall remain
in full force and effect for the term of the Employment Contract. This Addendum
shall be affixed directly to the Employment Agreement maintained in the Districts
official records.
In witness hereto, the following certify that both parties, the Board of Education of the
Parma City School District and Dr. Jeffrey M. Graham, have entered into this Addendum to the
Employment Contract on the date first written above.
