COLOCACIN DE BATERAS

AAA 1.5V

Remueva la tapa del compartimiento de bateras que se

encuentra en la parte posterior del control remoto y coloque
2 bateras AAA poniendo atencin a la polaridad.

AAA 1.5V

Finalmente, vuelva a colocar la tapa del compartimiento de

bateras.

PROGRAMACIN
- Encienda manualmente el equipo a controlar.
- En el control remoto mantenga presionada la tecla del equipo a
controlar SAT, DVD, VCR, AUX o TV y al mismo tiempo teclee
el cdigo correspondiente al equipo (consulte seccin Cdigos de
programacin).

- Realice una revisin para comprobar que los botones

funcionan correctamente.

OPERACIN
Una vez configurados los equipos deseados en el control
remoto, deber seleccionar la modalidad deseada SAT,
DVD, VCR, AUX o TV y operar el RM-25 de modo normal.

2. CONTROLES
1.- Enciende o apaga el equipo.
2.- VCR: opera las funciones bsicas de
videograbadoras (VCR).
3.- AUX: esta tecla funciona como comodn,
lo que significa que se puede programar
algn otro equipo de audio o vdeo.
4.- DVD: opera las funciones bsicas de los
reproductores DVD.
5.- TV: cambia el control remoto a modo TV.
6.- SAT: coloca al control remoto en modo
de Satlite.
7.- Dgitos 0-9: sintoniza los canales
de manera directa. En modo SAT permiten
configurar y operar el cdigo de seguridad
personal.
8.- TV EXIT: en modo SAT, permite
entrar de manera directa del navegador de
satlite a la sintona de un canal de TV
normal y viceversa. En otros equipos cierra
las funciones desplegadas en pantalla.
9.- VOLUME +/-: ajusta el nivel de volumen
+ lo incrementa y - lo disminuye.
10.- PROGRAM +/-: cambia de canal.
11.- SAT PREMIERE: tecla reservada para
aplicaciones futuras.
12.- Aplicaciones interactivas: en modo
SAT ingresa a las aplicaciones interactivas
que el sistema satlite tenga disponibles.

13.- MUTE: activa o desactiva el volumen.

14.- FAV: utilice esta funcin para realizar una exploracin de los canales.
15.- TV2: utilice esta tecla para controlar una segunda TV.
16.- TV/AV: Cambia entre modo TV y video.
17.- MOSAIC (mosaico): en modo SAT permite el acceso al canal Mosaico (100) o en su
caso, al canal mosaico Default.
18.- NAVEGADOR: estas teclas se utilizan para desplazarse a la derecha , izquierda
, arriba , abajo del men de configuracin, servicios de SAT, etc. La tecla central O
(ENTER) permite confirmar la funcin seleccionada.
19.- INFO (informacin): en modo SAT, despliega el banner de informacin del programa SAT
as como los mensajes urgentes que se reciban (para ms informacin consulte el manual
de operacin del receptor digital). Tambin permite activar la consulta avanzada, la cual ingresa
de manera rpida a la informacin de los programas que contiene la Gua de Programacin
Electrnica de SAT.
20.- GUIDE: permite entrar a la gua de programacin en pantalla de SAT. En otros equipos,
permite ingresar al men de configuracin.
21.- BACK (regresar): regresa al canal o pantalla anterior.
22.- SERVICIOS INTERACTIVOS: En modo SAT ingresa a los servicios interactivos que el
sistema satlite tenga disponibles.
23.- Reproduccin: en el modo SAT, VCR o DVD, use estas teclas para reproducir ( )
grabaciones de programas, avanzar ( ) o regresar ( ) a la escena, pausar ( ) o parar ( )
la reproduccin.
Use la tecla para realizar grabaciones de programas. Consulte a su proveedor de servicio
de cable o de satlite para ms informes respecto a esta funcin en su equipo.

24.- Sinopsis/audio alterno: En modo SAT permite cambiar el audio alterno y subttulos
en los canales que cuenten con dicha funcin. Si el banner de informacin est activo, al
presionar esta tecla entrar a la sinopsis del programa que desee ver.

3. PROGRAMACIN
3.1 Programacin manual
1.- En la seccin de Cdigos de Programacin localice el cdigo disponible para el
componente a controlar: SAT, DVD, VCR, AUX o TV.
2.- Encienda manualmente el componente a controlar.
3.- En el control remoto presione simultneamente la tecla
del componente a controlar SAT, DVD, VCR, AUX o TV e
introduzca el cdigo de programacin de la marca del
componente. Libere la tecla del componente.
En caso de introducir cualquier cdigo equivocado, el LED se
encender 4 veces y saldr de la funcin de programacin.
4.- Apunte el control remoto directamente al componente
y presione la tecla de encendido, si la configuracin fue
exitosa su equipo se deber encender y apagar.
Si el equipo no se apaga deber repetir el paso 3
utilizando un cdigo diferente al anterior, repita el proceso
hasta que el equipo se apague.
Si despus de haber aplicado los cdigos disponibles y an no se puede controlar
el componente, entonces, significa que la marca y modelo del componente no est
soportada por el control remoto.
En caso de que las funciones operen incorrectamente, deber programar el control
remoto con otro cdigo que corresponda a su equipo.
Si ningn cdigo de la lista funciona correctamente (o la marca de su aparato no esta
en la lista), utilice el mtodo de programacin automtica.

3.2 Programacin automtica

Esta programacin permite encontrar de manera automtica el cdigo para controlar el
componente deseado. Para salir de la bsqueda automtica presione la tecla TV EXIT.
1.- Encienda manualmente el equipo a controlar: SAT, DVD, VCR, AUX o TV.
2.- En el control remoto, seleccione manteniendo presionada
la tecla del equipo que desea programar, posteriormente,
presione y sostenga la tecla de encendido (recuerde, debe
mantener presionadas las dos teclas).
A continuacin deber soltar los botones hasta que el LED
se encienda.
3.- Apunte el control remoto en direccin al equipo, presione
una vez la flecha arriba del navegador. Cuando el LED
parpadea, significa que est en el proceso de busqueda,
durante este paso su equipo se deber apagar.
Si el equipo no se apaga, deber seguir presionando
arriba , hasta que el componente se apague.
4.- Una vez que el equipo se apag, presione la flecha izquierda
del navegador en intervalos de 1 segundo, hasta que el equipo se
encienda.
5.- Cuando el equipo se encienda, inmediatamente presione la
tecla central del navegador O para terminar y grabar el cdigo en la
memoria del control remoto (el LED se apagar).
Si despus de haber aplicado correctamente las secuencias de programacin y an
no se puede controlar el equipo, realice la programacin manual (pg. 7).

1.- Para hacer efectiva la garanta, presente sta pliza y el producto, en donde fue adquirido o en
Electrnica Steren S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrnica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso de estar defectuoso sin
ningn cargo al consumidor. Los gastos de transportacin sern cubiertos por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparacin en ningn caso ser mayor a 30 das, contados a partir de la recepcin del
producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse efectiva la garanta.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios, as como hacer vlida esta
garanta es en cualquiera de las direcciones mencionadas posteriormente.
ESTA PLIZA NO SE HAR EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.
3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no autorizado por Electrnica Steren S.A. de
C.V.
El consumidor podr solicitar que se haga efectiva la garanta ante la propia casa comercial donde adquiri
el producto. Si la presente garanta se extraviara, el consumidor puede recurrir a su proveedor para que le

BATTERY INSTALLATION

AAA 1.5V

1.- Remove the lid of battery compartment which is in the

back of the remote control. Place 2 AAA batteries, pay
attention to the polarity

Replace the cover of the battery compartment again.

PROGRAMMING
1. - Turn manually the desired device on.
In the section Programming code locate the available code
for your device SAT, DVD, VCR, AUX or TV. Press and hold the
key of the desired device and at the same time enter the code.
Testing the effectiveness of remote control keys.

OPERATION

When the programming step is finished, only press the

button of the device that you want to use, for example
SAT, DVD, VCR, AUX or TV and use the RM-25 in a
normal way.

2. CONTROLS

1.- Turn on or off the selected device.

2.- VCR: select this mode to control the
basic functions of video recorders (VCR).
3.- AUX: in this key you can program other
audio or video device.
4.- DVD: select this mode to control the
basic functions of a DVD device.
5.- TV: select the mode TV.
6.- SAT: set the satellite mode.
7.- Tune channels: directly enter channels.
8.- TV EXIT: in SAT, used to go directly
Browser SAT attuned to the normal channel
In the other components removed the
functions deployed on the screen.
9.- VOLUME +/-: increase or decrease the
sound level.
10.- PROGRAM +/-: select the next or
previous channel.
11.- SAT PREMIERE: key reserved for
future applications.
12.- Interactive applications: in SAT mode
allow to open the interactive applications,
consult your cable/satellite provider to
obtain more information.

13.- MUTE: turn the sound off or on.

14.- FAV: scan all channels.
15.- TV2: use this key to control a second TV.
16.- TV/AV: switch the TV or video mode.
17.- MOSAIC: Show the general information about the available channels, this option
change depending of your cable/satellite provider.
18.- These keys are used to navigate on the menus (right , left , up , down ). The
central key ( O ) input channel number entries on some TV models or make a selection on
a devices menu.
19.- In SAT mode, view the current channel and program information.
20.- GUIDE: if you are using the SAT mode this option allow to open the program guide. In
the other components, enter the setup menu.
21.- BACK: eecall the last-viewed channel.
22.- INTERACTIVE SERVICES: Open the interactive service only if your cable/satellite
provider offers this option.
23.- These keys control the VCR, DVD and SAT player. In SAT mode works correctly if your
cable/satellite provider has this service. Also you can use the key to make recordings.
24.- In SAT mode allow to change the original audio and subtitles. In some cable/satellite
devices display the movie synopsis.

3. PROGRAMMING
3.1 Manual programming

1 .- In the section Programming code locate the available code for your device SAT,
DVD, VCR, AUX or TV.
2. - Turn manually the desired device on (SAT, DVD, VCR, AUX or TV).
3.- Press and hold the key of the desired device and at the
same time enter the code.
Testing the effectiveness of remote control keys.
When introducing any code wrong, LED lights up 4 times and
leave the function programming.
4.- Aim the remote control directly to your device and
press the ON/OFF button, if the configuration was
successful your component works according with the
RM-25.
If the device does not turn off, please repeat step 3
using a different code.
If the remote control buttons do not work, may be because your TV does not have that
function. Check your TVs instruction manual.
If the remote control buttons do not work correctly, please try entering other code
compatible with your device.
If none of these codes can make your remote controller work normally (or the brand of
your household electrical appliance is not in the table), please set up by the Automatic
programming section.

3.2 Automatic programming

It possible to find programming code in an automatic way to control desired component.
To exit the automatic search key TV EXIT.
1. - Turn manually the desired device on (SAT, DVD, VCR, AUX or TV).

2.- Press and hold at the same time the key of the component
that you want to set, and at the same time press the key ON /
OFF until the LED turns red.

Aim the remote control directly to your device and press .

The RM-25 is in search mode when the LED flashes, the
device will turn off in this process.
If the device doesnt turn off, press until deactivate your
SAT, DVD, VCR, AUX or TV

4.- Now press and release the key until turn the device on.
5 .- When the device turn on, immediately press the central key O
to set the code in the remote control (the LED shut off).

This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship
and materials to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.
CONDITIONS

2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was
