January 21, 2015
The Village of Fleischmanns Board of Trustees held a Special Meeting on Wednesday,
January 21, 2015 at the Skene Memorial Library at 4:30 p.m. Present were: Mayor Todd
Pascarella, Deputy Mayor Benjamin Fenton and Larry Reilly. Harriet L. Grossman was
absent and David Yates was absent.
Resolution/ Mark Project, Inc.
Main Street Manager
At a Special Meeting
Of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Fleischmanns, New York
Held at the Skene Memorial Library
On Wednesday, January 21, 2015 and
Upon motion made by Benjamin Fenton and seconded by Todd Pascarella, the following
resolution was duly adopted:
Whereas, the Village of Fleischmanns is in support of the Mark Projects application
Smart Growth Grant to put a Main Street Manager in place for the Village of
Fleischmanns; and
Whereas, this funding will be used to create the position that will support economic
development and beautification; and
Whereas, this position would focus specifically on the economic vibrancy of Main
Street; and
Whereas, the Manager would deal with support for existing businesses, beautification
projects, business recruitment to fill vacant storefronts, serving as a liaison between the
Main Street business community and local government, cross coordination and
promotion of events and much more; and
Now Therefore Be It Resolved, that should Mark Project, Inc. be successful in their
efforts to gain funding, Mark Project, Inc. will develop the job description and hire the
Manager, with the guidance and ultimate approval from the Village Board.
