business by describing what we need to accomplish in order to continue achieving

The mission statement of a company or an organization is created to enable that
said company to express the purpose of its existence, what the business is and is all
about and which would also include the values that the company advocates and should
adhere into. On the other hand, a vision statement is one which is entirely embraced by
the company as its ideal goal and for which it is directed towards aiming for success in
future time.

Coca-Cola Company has been globally competing in the business arena for many
years now and it is said that this company is one of the big players in the industry which
it belongs. But said company is gradually making necessary changes to answer the
growing modifications of our highly competitive world and in preparation for what's to
come. One of these changes is what has previously mention in their vision and mission
statement as the Roadmap. This is pertaining to Coca-Cola Company's 2020 Vision.
Simply, the Roadmap is Coke's overall picture of how they could get the winning
position in the beverage industry. This Roadmap starts with how Coca-Cola Company
introduce itself to the world through its Vision and Mission statement.
What do we do? What do Coca-Cola Company do? From its mission it says,
... declares our purpose as a company.. To refresh the world... while its vision says,
Bring to the world a portfolio of quality beverage brands that anticipate and satisfy
people's desires and needs.. This expresses what Coke generally do which is to
manufacture and offer quality beverage brands with the aim of refreshing their market of
buyers in such a way that they could be of good help to the society while earning positive
profit. Coca-Cola Company is also doing business with the usual aim of earning profit as
stated in its vision, Maximize long-term return to shareowners while being mindful of our
overall responsibilities.. But is not reluctant to doing business in any way that it could
inspire moments of optimism and happiness... create value and make a difference.
How do we do it? How do Coca-Cola Company do it? Based on its vision statement,
the company uses the 7P's in order to continue achieving sustainable, quality growth
namely, People, Portfolio, Partners, Planet, Profit and Productivity. But this question will
focus more on the People, Partners and Productivity aspects. Coca-Cola Company conduct
business with the support of its different resources from human to financial resources.
Manufacturing businesses today, like Coke, may be machine-operated but the human
labor will always be a necessity for any business. Coke employs People not just to purely
work hard but to enjoy the career they choose to have in a manner that it could boost
their Productivity. With this kind of People and their Productivity, this in turn will result to
achieving the overall objective of the company which is to produce quality beverage
brands along its goal of inspiring optimism and happiness. Surely, any business will not
endure in a long run without its Partners. These partners as mentioned in its vision
statement are its customers and suppliers. Business goes hand in hand with its
customers and suppliers because its customers tell the business what to offer and its
suppliers offer the raw materials the business need to start and continue for operations.
Coke values and nurtures its relationship with its Partners just like how they give
importance to its People.
To whom are we doing it? To whom are Coca-Cola Company doing it? To.. the world
or to its network of customers. This question relates to what the business is targeting to
market. Cokes mission and vision statement are broad in conveying to what kind of
market they are preferring to get. This is because they really has a broad market. CocaCola Company is offering their quality beverage brands to different classes of people in
the society but is more focus on individuals who usually find themselves drinking
refreshing beverages to satisfy their thirst. With the affordable prices offered by the
company they definitely catch the taste of the discount customers during normal days,
the impulse customers during holiday sessions and even the wandering customers.
What values are we bringing? What values are Coca-Cola Company bringing?
Cokes vision and mission statement acknowledge the values of optimism, responsibility,
productivity, quality work, sustainability and happiness. Coca-Cola Company core values
stem from the ideals of leadership, collaboration, integrity, accountability, passion,

diversity and quality. These values are said to be practiced by the company from its
insides, from its management to its lowest rank employees, to the outside forces, like its
relationship with its customers, suppliers and the society. This is to uphold a good work
environment, good relationship with partners and a good business. Coca-Cola Company
is upbringing a kind of business that is basically created to earn profit but is still mindful
of its responsibilities not only to its employees but also to the environment and the world.
