FSCC CFS IIUM

INTRODUCTION
Praise be to Allah s.w.t, Lord of the Universe and peace be upon His final
Prophet Muhammad s.a.w our most respectful qudwahtulhasanah, his
family and the companions.
Raudhah Festival, also known as RAFEST, is an annual high impact
program that has been organized in this Centre for Foundation Studies
(CFS) since the past 12 years. As one of the major event of CFS, RAFEST
provides various opportunities for students of CFS to organize events
consists of talks, forums, exhibitions, bazaar and many other Islamic
activities. This festival is also a platform for students to unleash their
talents and to enhance as well as practice their entrepreneurship and
management skills.
Raudhah Festival 2014 will be held on February 10 th until February
17th2014. This mega event will be involving all International Islamic
Foundation students coordination council

(fscc)

University Malaysia (IIUM) student community (Petaling Jaya, Gombak


andGambang).
The opening ceremony of Raudhah Festival 2014 (Rafest 14) will be
officiated by Prof. Dato DrZalehaKamarudin, Rector of International
Islamic University Malaysia on February 10th 2014.
Grand Usrah
A grand usrah will be held in CFS IIUM area. All of the students will be
divided into small groups and a leader will be appointed to conduct the
usrah. One and a half hour will be filled with discussions about various
things in respective groups.
Forums and Talks
Raudhah Festival 2014 will be offering contemporary topic which will be
delivered by prominent speakers.

Kuliyyah Exhibition
This exhibition will provide the students with information about their
kuliyyah in their degree period at main campus IIUM Gombak and IIUM
Kuantan. The students will have a chance to explore and get more info
about their kuliyyah in main campus.
Food and Cultural Festival
FSCC Arts and Culture Bureau will organize a festival to expose the food
and culture of Muslims from various nations and tribes.

Scholarship Exhibition
The exhibitions will be held at Al-Malik Faisal Hall. RAFEST will hold a
scholarship exhibition whereby sponsors that are offering their
scholarships will be invited to exhibit their scholarships and will give the
opportunity to the students to observe their favorable circumstances.
Dikir Zikir
The crews from Dikir Zikir Al Hijrah TV programme will be invited to
shoot their programme in CFS IIUM PJ and the students will have the
chance to watch the programme live.
Battle of Nasheedians
BON will be held at Al Malik Faisal Hall. The contest will be opened only to
the brothers of CFS IIUM PJ. The main purpose of this event is to establish
a formal CFS IIUM PJ nasheed band.

OBJECTIVES OF PROGRAMME
2.1 To revive the spirit of Islam in every aspect and seek
mardhatillah through programs that will be organized according
to the standards set by the Quran and Sunnah.
2.2 To provide opportunities for students to enhances their talents
in creativity and entrepreneurship skills.
