ACTIVITIES:
LOOKING SYMBOLS!!
1) The first activity consist in find the consonants and vowels that are
hidden here in class and you have to find them. The first group to find
the most letters, started to find two examples depending of number of
letters found, the group that finishes first will be the winner.
This activity is to practice the initial and final sounds in words and remind
them that the final sound of a word is not always the same.
Example:
I Ill stared whit a short word fate the first group should say that the word
ended whit t. QUICK the group number 2 must say a word that stars whit
t. For example talk QUICK the group number 1 must say that ended whit
k. QUICK the group number 2 should say a word that stars whit the letter
k. And so will continue the winning group who will have more than five hits.

My name is ilse Garcia. My video is a Warm up of the Seven Vowels that i am in charge. It was
created for the purpose of expanding muscle articulation in your mouth and tongue. My activity is
going to be a game called Lotery of the Vowels. Every time you hear the vowel place a bean on
the correct letter. When you get all the letters you scream "Super lotery". The lucky winner is
going to get a fantastic price. This activity helps you listen and practice your pronunciation in a
creative and fun way

to the best of your abilities.
Activity #2
Observe the NAE vowel quadrant and try to identify each sample given in the video following
placement on the quadrant. Remember, producing native sounds its not our goal; practice of
these sounds would help you develop a better pronunciation of the English Language.
