Applications and use

Cortem FLFE series lighting fixtures are normally used to light uniformly indoor and
outdoor areas requiring limited vertical encumbering, low power consumption (feature of
fluorescent tubes technology), easy installation (see the wide range of mounting kits,
allowing a quick and safe mounting (without need of sealing fittings) and maintenance /
re-lamping operations.
Advantages:
The fixture has been designed with an Ex e terminal junction box which allows
connecting it with an Ex e cable gland (not necessarily Ex d barrier cable gland) and
hence, the equipment installation in both cable and conduit distribution plants.
Easy and fast re-lamping procedure, and hence higher safety and cost savings on
maintenance.
The fixture, in the Emergency execution, is provided with all electric components
internally mounted, reducing encumbering in the installation area.
The fixture is presented with a wide variety of mounting kits, which make it particularly
performing.
