An individual may contribute a maximum amount of $2,700 per election (the primary and general are separate elections) to a federal
candidate. Federal multi-candidate political action committees (PACs) may contribute $5,000 per election. Contributions from corporations, labor
organization treasury funds, foreign nationals, and federal government contractors are prohibited. Corporations and individuals are strictly
prohibited from reimbursing another person for making a contribution to Friends of Mazie Hirono.
To comply with federal law, we must use our best efforts to obtain and report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer of all
individuals whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 per election cycle.

How it works:
Step 1: You make a $500 for individual or $1,000 for PAC annual commitment to
Friends of Mazie Hirono for each year through her 2018 re-election.
Step 2: You received the following benefits for that one investment:
Quarterly Events in Washington, DC (March, June, September, December)
Bring a guest (co-worker, client, etc) to one of these quarterly events at no
additional investment.

Send a surrogate in your place if you are unable to attend a quarterly Ohana
event.
Special recognition at ALL events for members in good standing
Ohana Trust Membership Pin
Discounted fee for Hawaii Retreat in February
Inclusion in the Ohana status report submitted to Senator Hirono each month
