WIRELESS TRANSMISSION

The learn function executes automatically and runs for approximately

3 minutes when batteries are first installed in the receiver.

Environmental factors and signals from other household devices, such

as remote entry controls, security systems, and computers, may
interfere with the wireless transmission of this product and cause
temporary reception loss. This is normal and does not affect the general
performance of this product. Stable reception will resume once the
interference ends.

Press and hold CHN for 3 seconds to start.

Unit will beep to indicate that the learn function has started.

Channel symbol will blink and unit will continue to beep as each
remote transmitter is detected.

Within 3 minutes, the temperature and humidity reading of the remote

transmitter will display on the receiver.

For optimal performance:

Place the receiver and remote transmitter side by side about 1 metre
apart, and allow the receiver and remote transmitter to synchronize
for 10 minutes before you place the remote transmitter outdoors.
The remote transmitter should be placed in a dry shaded area.
NOTE: Fog and mist will not harm the remote transmitter but
direct rain must be avoided.
Mount the remote transmitter upright avoiding metallic objects
and frames, such as window sills. Verify that there are no obstacles
like a transmission tower or steep hill that can cause interference
and blockage between the remote transmitter and receiver.

Within these 3 minutes, the receiver will pick up the temperature and
humidity signals from remote transmitter and display the reading.

You can set both an upper and lower temperature alarm for the local
temperature (main receiver unit) and/or for each of the remote
(outdoor) channels of 1 to 4.

UPPER TEMPERATURE LIMIT: If the temperature gets too warm

and reaches the upper temperature limit, the alarm would sound.

Scroll to the Lower Temperature Alarm Setting mode by pressing MODE .

the middle-left portion of the LCD screen on the WD633 receiver.

the bottom-left corner of the LCD screen on the WT440H transmitter.

To disable the particular alarm, press ALARM .

When the batteries are low on a transmitter, a Low Battery Indication

( ) will also light up on the bottom-left corner of the LCD screen on
the WD633 receiver for that particular channel.

Setting the Lower Temperature Alarm

The temperature alarm is an ideal feature to be used for greenhouses

and wine cellars, or any place that you require controlled temperature.
Once activated, the temperature alarm would sound when the room gets
too warm or too cold depending on your settings.

This may occur when you move the remote transmitter from one
environment to another. For example, when you bring the
transmitter from inside the warm house out to the cold exterior. In
such a case, there will be a big change in temperature. The
transmitter will record this change in temperature much quicker
than it is able to transmit the data to the receiver (which is done
once every minute). Therefore, you will temporarily get a
difference in reading between the remote transmitter and receiver.
The solution is to allow the remote transmitter some time to sit in
its new location to reach equilibrium. This may take several
minutes. Once the data is stable, the data displayed on the
remote transmitter should match that displayed on the receiver.

The temperature and humidity data on the

remote transmitter does not match the data
displayed on the receiver.

This may also be the result of a temporary loss of reception due

to interfering sources. Normal reception should resume once
the interference ends. Refer to the WIRELESS TRANSMISSION
section.

The remote (outdoor) readout on the receiver is

blinking.

Re-synchronize the remote transmitter and receiver by pressing

and holding CHN on the receiver for 3 seconds until a beep is
heard. The temperature and humidity data from the remote
transmitter will display on the receiver within 3 minutes. Refer to
the WIRELESS TRANSMISSION (Manual Learn Function) section.

The remote (outdoor) readout on the receiver is

blinking. The receiver will not detect or receive
the temperature and humidity data from the
remote transmitter, even after the Manual Learn
Function has been executed.

Ensure the remote transmitter is away from any possible source of

interference and electrical disturbances. You may try to reposition
the remote transmitter in a different location and/or closer to the
receiver. The remote transmitter does have a maximum range of
40 metres, but any walls or windows the signal has to pass through
will reduce the distance. Due to the nature of the batteries,
extreme cold temperatures may also affect the transmission range.
Refer to the WIRELESS TRANSMISSION section and repeat the
Manual Learn Function with the remote transmitter in a new
location.

TRANSMISSION SANS FIL

Enlever le couvercle des piles

Fonction d'Apprentissage Manuelle (Recherche du Signal sans fil):

2 piles de type AA (inclus)

Si un nouveau capteur sans fil est ajout ou si le signal est perdu (l'affichage
extrieur sur la station de rception clignote), la fonction d'apprentissage doit
tre excute nouveau.

Insrer les piles dans leur compartiment

en respectant soigneusement les
polarits puis remettre le couvercle

TRANSMISSION SANS FIL

Fonction d'Apprentissage automatique:

La fonction d'apprentissage s'excute automatiquement et fonctionne

pendant approximativement 3 minutes quand les piles sont installes dans
la station de rception pour la premire fois.

Dans les 3 minutes, la station de rception captera les signaux de la

temprature et de l'humidit depuis le capteur sans fil et affichera la lecture.

TRANSMISSION SANS FIL

Les facteurs environnementaux et les signaux des autres appareils du foyer, tels
que les tlcommandes, les systmes de scurit et les ordinateurs peuvent
brouiller la transmission sans fil de ce produit et causer une perte de rception
temporaire. C'est normal et cela n'affecte pas la performance gnrale de ce
produit. Une rception stable reprendra une fois que l'interfrence se termine.

Pour une performance optimale:

Appuyer et maintenir CHN pendant 3 secondes pour dmarrer.

L'unit va biper pour indiquer que la fonction d'apprentissage a dmarr.

Le symbole du canal clignotera et l'unit continuera biper quand chaque

capteur sans fil est dtect.

Le capteur sans fil devrait tre plac dans une zone sche et ombrage.
REMARQUE: Le brouillard et la brume n'endommageront pas le capteur
sans fil mais le mettre sous la pluie directe doit tre vite.

Dans les 3 minutes qui suivent, la lecture de la temprature et de l'humidit

du capteur sans fil s'affichera sur la station de rception.

Monter le capteur sans fil tout droit en vitant les objets et les cadres
mtalliques, tels que les allges de fentre. Vrifier qu'il n'y a aucun obstacle
comme par exemple une tour de transmission ou une colline escarpe qui
peuvent causer des interfrences et crer un blocage entre le capteur sans
fil et la station de rception.

Placer la station de rception et le capteur sans fil cte cte spar par
environ 1 mtre, et permettre la station de rception et au capteur sans fil
de synchroniser pendant 10 minutes avant de placer le capteur sans fil
l'extrieure.

L'alarme de temprature est une caractristique idale pour tre utilise dans les
serres et caves vin ou toute autre place qui requiert des tempratures contrles.
Une fois active, l'alarme de temprature sonnera quand la pice devient trop
chaude ou trop froide, tout dpendra de vos rglages.
Vous pouvez rgler la fois une alarme de temprature leve et basse pour
la temprature locale (pour l'unit principale de la station) et/ou pour chacun
des canaux (extrieur) de 1 4.

LIMITE LEVE DE TEMPRATURE : Si la temprature devient trop chaude

et va atteindre une limite leve de temprature, l'alarme sonnera.

LE TMOIN DE LA FAIBLE CHARGE DES PILES

Rglage de l'alarme de temprature basse

La station WD633

Dfiler vers le mode du Rglage de l'Alarme de Temprature Basse en

appuyant sur MODE. Vous devriez voir le symbole
et des lignes en
pointill (- - -) ou le clignotant du rglage prexistant.

Slectionner le canal dsir, local ou les canaux (1 4) distance en

utilisant CHN.

Appuyer sur la touche + ou - pour rgler la value dsire

sur la limite de temprature basse.

Pour dsactiver une alarme particulire, appuyer

sur ALARM. Les lignes en pointill (- - -) rapparatront
pour indiquer que l'alarme a t dsactive.

Rglage de l'alarme de temprature leve

Appuyer sur MODE pour terminer; ou rpter les

tapes pour tous les autres canaux si ncessaires.

Dfiler vers le mode du Rglage de l'Alarme de Temprature leve en

appuyant sur MODE. Vous devriez voir le symbole

Rglage des Alarmes 1 et 2:

Rglage de l'Horloge 1:

Appuyer et maintenir MODE pendant 3 secondes pour entrer dans le mode

de rglage de l'horloge. Vous entendrez un bip. (Le symbole CLOCK 1
apparatra et l'heure clignotera).

Appuyer sur HOUR pour rgler les heures et sur MINUTE pour rgler les
minutes;

Appuyer sur ALARM/ (C/F) durant le rglage de l'horloge pour changer

l'affichage entre 12 et 24 heures. Ceci terminera le rglage de l'horloge.

Appuyer sur MODE ou aucune touche appuye pendant une minute cela
terminera le rglage de l'horloge.

Ceci peut se produire quand vous dplacez le capteur sans fil d'un
environnement un autre. Par exemple, quand vous prenez le capteur
de l'intrieur d'une maison chaude a l'extrieur o il fait froid. Dans un
tel cas, il y aura un grand changement de la temprature. Le capteur
enregistrera ce changement de temprature beaucoup plus rapidement
que sa capacit transmettre les donnes la station de rception (ce
qui se fait une fois toutes les minutes). Par consquent, vous aurez
temporairement une diffrence dans la lecture entre le capteur sans fil
et la station de rception. La solution est de donner au capteur sans fil
du temps pour s'adapter sa nouvelle localisation et y atteindre
l'quilibre. Ceci peut prendre plusieurs minutes. Une fois que les
donnes seront stables, celles qui s'afficheront sur le capteur devraient
correspondre celles affiches sur la station.

Les donnes temprature et humidit sur le

capteur sans fil ne correspondent pas celles
affiches sur la station.

Ceci peut tre le rsultat d'une perte temporaire de rception due des
sources de brouillages Une rception normale devrait reprendre une
fois que le brouillage se terminera. Se rapporter la section
TRANSMISSION SANS FIL.

La lecture du capteur sans fil (extrieure) sur la

station de rception clignote.

Synchroniser nouveau le capteur sans fil et la station de rception en

appuyant et maintenant CHN sur la station pendant 3 secondes jusqu'
ce que vous entendez un bip. Les donnes de la temprature et de
l'humidit depuis le capteur s'afficheront sur la station dans les 3
minutes. Se reporter la section TRANSMISSION SANS FIL (Fonction
d'Apprentissage Manuelle).

La lecture du capteur sans fil (extrieure) sur la

station de rception clignote. La station de
rception ne dtectera ou ne recevra pas les
donnes de la temprature et de l'humidit depuis
le capteur sans fil, mme aprs que la Fonction
d'Apprentissage Manuel ait t excute.

Assurez vous que le capteur sans fil est loin de toutes sources
possibles de brouillages et de perturbations lectriques. Vous pouvez
essayer de repositionner le capteur dans un endroit diffrent et/ou plus
proche de la station de rception. Le capteur sans fil a une tendue
maximale de 40 mtres, mais si le signal doit traverser des murs ou des
fentres cela rduira cette distance. D la nature des piles, des
tempratures froides extrmes peuvent aussi affecter la gamme de
transmission. Se reporter la section TRANSMISSION SANS FIL et
rpter la fonction d'apprentissage Manuelle avec le capteur sa
nouvelle localisation.
