What

is Schmeichel
What's
our goal? ?
Shmeichel needs no introduction. What
began as a pipe dream to fill the entertainment
needs of bedridden children has in only eight
short years evolved into a flourishing network
of kindness.
Our goal is to be a supportive force on the
long journey to recovery. We work tirelessly to
cheer and uplift the spirits of patients and their
families, thereby providing them with strength
and willpower to brave their challenges and
overcome their illnesses.
Today
Shmeichel,
a
non-profit
organisation, is presently staffed by over
70 men and women, all volunteers who are
selflessly committed to furthering Shmeichels
goals. They are enriching the lives of over 600
children and adults suffering the debilitating
effects of serious and long term medical
conditions.
Besides the obvious humanitarian benefits,
doctors support and commend our program
because it strengthens the resolve to live and
fight disease, thus prolonging life.
Everyday our volunteers work tirelessly
to bring about big smiles to those that have
so little to smile about.
With our strong mission of spreading
hope and joy, we provide a range of free
and confidential services to hospitalized
and home-bound people and their families.
Our volunteers have exponentially
increased in an effort to effectively
administer our new programs as well
as keep pace with our organisations
growing
demand
within
the
community.
With your generous support we will
be able to continue reaching out to the
many individuals who so desperately
need our services. Do become our
partners in continuing our mission
of lighting the load of people and
families who have been stricken, and
need our support to enable them to
see the light at the end of the tunnel.
