BOOK CLUB MEETNG

book-lovers will meet on July 9th,
at 11:30 a.m. in Room 6 to have lunch and
discuss this month's selection. It's: THE
INN AT ANGEL ISLAND, by Thomas
Kinkade and Katherine Spencer.
Liza Martin arrives on Angel Island,
eager to sell off the rundown inn she inherited from her
aunt. Her broken marriage and life back in Boston adds
to her discontent. While repairing the inn with a handyman, she recalls her childhood summers there, and starts
to change her direction in life. Stay or sell? Redirect her
hurting soul?

Videographer
Dynamic, fast growing Summerlin, Nevada Desert Spring United Methodist Church seeks a top notch Videographer
experienced in creating and producing content and video streaming. This person will be proficient in current trends
and equipment. You must be able to work well with people.
Requirements:
Coordinate with Social Media Director for uploading video sermons and streaming worship services.
Prepare and do video projects for announcements and sermon starters
Meet regularly with the Senior Pastor and planning team to plan and develop strategies and assist ministries
Videotaping Sunday worship services.
Assist with Special Worship services planning as needed
Streaming Sunday 9:30 and 11:00 AM Services.
Must have current knowledge of Videography.
Train others to assist and deploy
Qualifications:
Hands on experience in Videography
Knowledge and experience in producing live streaming
Training and leadership experience and skills
A desire to be a part of this important part of our Ministries
This position is part time and will require 5 to 8 hours per week. The videographer hopefully can attend staff meetings

A Financial Peace University Opportunity

A FREE session featuring Dave Ramseys Dumping Debt lesson will be held in Downs Hall on Thursday, September
10 at 7:00 PM. Please come and check it out!
This is Dave Ramsey's most notable session, a 70 minute, Dumping Debt video and I encourage you to attend and consider inviting a guest. Viewing this Preview session will give you an idea what FPU is about and how it can help you.
I will set up the room for the FPU video and I want to make sure that I have sufficient tables and chairs set up to accommodate all those who attend, so please let me know that you plan to attend. I also will provide a Workbook copy of
the Dumping Debt lesson to each couple/individual guest, so I need to know the number of families including those
you have invited for this special presentation.

THERES STILL TIME TO HELP!
Volunteers Needed !
We need 7 - 10 volunteers
per day for the following
days:
July 8th - 11th, July 14th - 18th.
We are asking volunteers for 3 - 4 hours each day and
then go home and COOL OFF. We would like to start
around 7 am - so we may head home before temps rise
too high. Tasks will include: trim paint prep, paint interior trim and shelves - paint touch up, exterior wall
and pop-out paint - bathroom hardware, cleaning, landscaping, cabinet trim, appliance install - site cleanup,
pressure wash, window screen repair and install, exterior paint pick up - install doors and locksets, install window blinds and final clean. As you can see many Holy
Hammer hands are needed ! (We do not have anyone
scheduled for the above dates) Let us get
this fine family into their home.

CHICK FLICKS ON SUMMER BREAK

Chick Flicks will be on a SUMMER BREAK until September. We wish everyone a summer that is fun, new
and most definitely exciting. We will look forward to
once again meeting for dinner, dessert, fellowship and
most certainly a CHICK FLICKS MOVIE again in
September.

LIFE SKILLS ACADEMY
SPONSORING BABY CARE CLASSES
We will be hosting a 6 week education series on Baby
Care beginning in mid-July. The class is free and open to
people in your church and community who are expecting a
baby ... and to anyone who supports them. It will be held
on Thursday mornings at our facility, 4412 S. Maryland
Pkwy, beginning July 16 at 9:30am - 12:00noon.
