1 JESUS IS WISE
SCRIPTURE: Jacob 5:22 And the Lord of the vineyard said unto him: Counsel
me not; I knew that it was a poor spot of ground; wherefore, I said unto thee, I have
nourished it this long time, and thou beholdest that it hath brought forth much fruit.
EXPLANATION: When we look for counsel, the fount of wisdom is Jesus Christ.
We should not try to counsel ourselves because that will result in inaccurate and doings.
PRINCIPLE: Develop wisdom. Through prayer and scriptures reading, we can
increase in wisdom when we look for Gods counsel.
2 JESUS IS MERCIFUL
SCRIPTURE: Jacob 6:4 And how merciful is our God unto us, for he
remembereth the house of Israel, both roots and branches; and he stretches forth his
hands unto them all the day long; and they are a stiffnecked and a gainsaying people; but
as many as will not harden their hearts shall be saved in the kingdom of God.
EXPLANATION: Although the mistakes that we make and our imperfections,
Jesus Christ is merciful and as he said in Jacob, he is willing to give his people a second
chance and gather them together before the end comes.
PRINCIPLE: Be merciful with others.
3 JESUS IS JUST
SCRIPTURE: Jacob 6:10 And according to the power of justice, for justice cannot
be denied, ye must go away into that lake of fire and brimstone, whose flames are
unquenchable, and whose smoke ascendeth up forever and ever, which lake of fire and
brimstone is endless torment.
EXPLANATION: Jesus Christ is just. Through justice we get what we deserve
but Christ uses Mercy too because of his atoning sacrifice. No other person can be just
and merciful at the same time. Only Jesus.
PRINCIPLE: Be just and fair with everyone.
4 JESUS IS A CREATOR
SCRIPTURE Enos 1:27 27 And I soon go to the place of my rest, which is with
my Redeemer; for I know that in him I shall rest. And I rejoice in the day when my
mortal shall put on immortality, and shall stand before him; then shall I see his face with
pleasure, and he will say unto me: Come unto me, ye blessed, there is a place prepared
for you in the mansions of my Father. Amen

 EXPLANATION: Jesus Christ is a creator and for that reason he is preparing

mansions for all of us who are obedient to his commandments. He is the creator of peace
and eternal existence.
PRINCIPLE: Build our legacy and leave a good example for the coming
generations so that they can pursue the same goal of an eternal mansion.
5 JESUS IS FULL OF THE SPIRIT AND TEACHES BY THE SPIRIT
SCRIPTURE: Jacob 7:8 But behold, the Lord God poured in his Spirit into my
soul, insomuch that I did confound him in all his words.
EXPLANATION: The only way to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ is by the
power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus and his apostles taught people and convert them to the
church because the power of the scriptures combined with the holy ghost can change
peoples hearts.The power of the Holy Spirit is so strong that it can hold someone from
speaking and influencing other people to think that doing wrong is justified.
PRINCIPLE: Pray to have the spirit to reprehend and exhort.
