Flower essence remedies currently available are very effective, allied to a numerological
approach they can be even more beneficial. Many believe numbers to be important in the
lives. Not simply those six lucky numbers they choose each week for the lottery but also
the ones that determine their destiny, relationships and career paths. According to
numerologists, everything is governed by numbers, including our personality traits and
future destiny.
Two major systems are in use today, the Cabbalistic and Pythagorean. The later was
devised by a Greek mathematician and philosopher Pythagoras in the 6th century BC.
Based on calculations of the numerological values of personal names and dates of birth,
it is possible to give character readings and predict future trends.
Research shows that flower remedies work on the vibrational level of our emotions and
when we ingest these essences they change this frequency into a healthier, more
positive one. in addition to the famous Bach flower remedies, there are now over 1500
flower essence formulas from all over the world which have joined Dr Bach's original
remedies to help us cope with those everyday stresses.
Tailor Made
It is said that being in touch with the numbers in your life, those that constitute your
individual character and personality, you can tailor specific flower essence remedies to
suit your individual emotional make-up.
The number of most importance is your life number, based on your date of birth. Simply
add together each numeral at this date and reduce it to a single digit, for example: if you
were born on September 23rd 1967, adding each digit of your birth date would be come :
2+3+9+1+9+6+7=37 Then add together 3+7=10 then 1+0=1 so then your life number
is actually *1*.
To find what any given year may hold, add the day and the month together with the year
in question, for example: September the 23rd and the year 1998, we would add
2+3+9+1+9+9+8=41, reducing it again, 4+1=5 making 5 your year number.
In the following read the section for your life and year numbers and let the relevant
flower essences help bring new perspective and clarity to your world.

take on too much can lead to over exertion, tiredness and depression. Number ones need
to step back occasionally and the herb Black Eyed Susan is ideal since it enables them to
cope with stress and the fast pace life they lead.
Misunderstandings in relationships due to an inability to express inner feelings and show
affection may hamper their lives. Here Flannel and Harvest Lily will be of value as they
can help you see another's point of view while Vine will balance any tendency to appear
domineering or intolerant.
One years begin new cycles, friends and jobs, places situations. Change may not always
be welcome and restlessness may result so use Crossandra for acceptance of new
challenges.

Diplomatic, polite and courteous, the generally good natured dispositions of number twos
often means that others will take advantage of them. Mountain Pride will show them how
to stand up for themselves and Salvia will aid their self-esteem.
Twos can be sensitive, artistic and find it hard to make decisions. Sensitive souls, they
will need to call upon the Walnut remedy for those not infrequent occasions when their
feelings have been hurt.

and also profitable. Alzea aids the creative impulse but, if things fail to progress as
quickly as you would wish, try Pink Seaweed for patience before taking new initiatives.

most hyper times, while Almond essence will gently calm frazzled nerves.

a time of expansion when any offers should be acted upon, for those who are lacking love
or looking for their soul mate this year. Grape and Gardenia attract the right vibrations.

unwanted thoughts, Oregon Grape will bring positive expectations of others. Mallow
promises openness and trust while Lemon Grass is a good remedy for when love hurts. To

SEVEN
Number sevens are highly sensitive and intuitive idealists, interested more in the spiritual
side of life than the material. often they are seen as being calculating and analytical
since they weigh up everything just about. Sevens can be oblivious to others when lost in
deep thought and this factor, along with the tendency to hide from the world every so
often, gives the outward impression of them being unsociable loners. So the seven
individual should use Walnut to protect their sensitive nature while Chamomile can help
create emotional balance.
Seven years are times of quiet reflection, ideal for sitting back and taking stock, focusing
on themselves rather than others. Wild Wood Violets aid this focus. Taking up a new

excessive ambition and self centeredness into service for others. Forget Me Not helps
alleviate isolation and forges stronger links with others while Foxglove attracts fulfilling
personal relationships.

promotion. This in itself may be loaded with extra burdens and added tension. Elm can
bring relief to those who feel overwhelmed by responsibility while Iris is good for easing
mental stress.
NINE
Creative, artistic, compassionate and sympathetic, number nines can also be moody and
competitive. These folk therefore need to guard against a lack of self-control and a selfdestructive element that makes them constantly test relationships, ideas and situations.
Yellow Cowslip Orchid can bestow and ability to view lots differently, Milkweed or Tomato
Blossom will lend support.
Nine years are times to flourish and to complete unfinished tasks and Peach Flowered Tea
Tree will help see things through to completion. Decisions will be made but do guard
against acting to impulsively. White Petunia will help with choices, while Crowea can help
you become more in touch with your own feelings when much change can make it
difficult to establish and maintain balance at times.
into well rounded adults, you will be helping them to lay the foundations for mastering this very difficult vibration. Who knows, in
the fullness of time they may grow up to become great visionaries.
The strong need of the 22 for seclusion has its origin in the influence of the energies of the Moon. Numerologically, the 2
represents the Moon. It is the symbol of the Great Mother of all Life, the feminine aspect of Divinity and also of the feminine
side in both genders; apart from that the Moon represents our earthly personality and our soul. For a better understanding of
this, please read The Sun in Cancer, the Moons own sign. Consisting of two twos, the 22 has the benefit of a double helping
of lunar energy and is therefore strongly affected by it. For example, 22s have the benefit of a double dose of the caring and
nurturing qualities of the feminine and they contain a great reservoir of compassion, wisdom and love of the Great Mother of all
life they can tap.
Mother Earth is but one of her many her physical manifestations and through the Earth signs, Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn the
infinite wisdom and love of the Mother Earth is most accessible to humankind. Not surprisingly, the road to Mastership is a
thorny one because here we are required to shed all our selfishness and nail the drives and desires of our earthly nature to the
cross of consciousness, so that we may become ever more at one with our Highest Self, until it can work the same miracles
through us to bring relief to the suffering of humankind, as it once did through the Master Jesus. Loving Mother Earth and
serving her, without getting stuck on the material plane, is an important part of the constant juggling and balancing act, which as
prospective masters we have to cope with on an ongoing basis.

From White Eagle on Freemasonry Stella Polaris 1977 comes the following wisdom: You will find the true Masonic teaching
[as the basis] in all the ancient Mystery Schools. They all required the candidate to measure up to a certain moral and physical
standard, before they were permitted to be initiated into the craft. You do not hear anything of this in modern Freemasonry, but
you do hear of the Masons, the Brethren of the craft, being taught to act on the square, and to measure their work, which
means their actions, very accurately.
There can be no slipshod methods in the life of brothers/sisters; they must endeavour to measure up to a correct standard of
behaviour. They are given the tools of life, of building, and White brothers/sisters [not recognised by the colour of their skin
which is irrelevant but by calling upon and working with the light of the Highest Star] are all builders. We want you to think of
yourselves as builders, you must be very accurate in everything you do and think and say. You must be exact [honest and on
the square] in your dealings with your siblings.
If this Masonic law was really put into practice, perfect love and perfect justice would rule supreme in the worldly life [as it will
do eventually]. There would be no more war, no more cruelty, no more pain or suffering inflicted by one upon another... The
Masonry which was brought to the Earth thousands of years ago has never been lost; it has been kept alive throughout the
ages.
The Grand Master of all Freemasonic Lodges is the Christ, whose rule in whatever embodiment he has come among the
peoples [of Earth] has always been the same. Love and help all people; heal the sick; comfort the bereaved and sorrowful;
love nature; love the elements; learn to understand and commune with the Angels and consciously co-operate with the myriad
little workers [unseen helpers of Mother Earth], the spirits of the elements by whose service the world is made beautiful and
productive for humankind. Words in square brackets have been added by me in the hope of further clarifying the meaning of
this teaching.
To me, the Christ does not mean the Master Jesus, but the Universal Christ, the Great architect and Masterbuilder, in Its
capacity as the Lord and Master of the whole of Creation, whose children we all are. With the help of the legend of the Master
Jesus life story, S/He revealed to us the meaning of spiritual mastership. All of Gods children of the Earth are eventually
required to walk in the Masters footsteps, so that in the fullness of time each one of us grows into a Master in their own right.
understanding of the great need for caution, forethought and attention to detail, the souls affected by this are unlikely to be able
to make the progress that potentially is their birthright.
Numerology deals with planetary energies, but by implication and in subtle ways the signs they rule are also brought into play.
And whom do we find in the case of Uranus, as if sitting in the prompting box of the great theatre of life? Well hidden from
public view, to give us clues as to where our next lesson can be found, there is Saturn, the co-ruler of Aquarius, our good friend!
He represents old Father Time himself the teacher who in later life becomes the rewarder to those who patiently pay attention
to his lessons. If we are too hasty, we encounter delays and frustrations that will stop us from where we are trying to get too
quickly. And if we are careless, there will be accidents to teach us to be more cautious next time. Is this how over time the
thirteen acquired its poor reputation?
Lo! In all these things there reveals itself to our astonished eyes the great love and wisdom of our Creator, who has decreed
that on our way back home into our true nature Saturn has to act as the gateway. There are no exceptions; everybody has to
walk through this gate to reach the spiritual freedom that is the promise of the Aquarian Age. Saturns role is to teach each one
of us the required self-mastery and self-discipline through the tests and trials of the Earth plane which we constantly encounter.
That way we slowly become spiritualised, better people who are more in touch with their spirit and soul, altogether more
focused on our true reality and our true nature.
Did you know that the Universe is constantly trying to guide us in some way and that it can give us valuable clues as to what is
currently moving through our lives? Becoming aware that this is so can in the fullness of time grow into a valuable tool and a
veritable life-help. All we need to do is to watch out for the signs, signals and symbolisms the Universe is giving us and then to
make an effort at intuitively interpreting them. For example, if the number thirteen crops up in our life repeatedly and if we insist
on living on the fast track of it, the Universe may be trying to tell us to slow down, because if we do not heed its warning there
might be an accident.
If your life is affected by the thirteen, maybe permanently because you were born on that day of the month any month or
just temporarily, this article is a gift that is coming your way from the Universe through me. It is bringing a note of caution but
that does not need to frighten you or anyone else. It is merely trying to help all of us find a better understanding of the thirteen,
so that we may shed yet another one of our false beliefs and overcome the fears so that we may shed yet another one of our
false beliefs and overcome the fears that once accompanied it.
life. The reward of souls who make an effort to tap securely into what is, after all, the creative power of God, shall be increased
joy, love and great strength of purpose and willpower.
Mind you, the Universe is not doing these things for nothing. It does indeed expect something in return from us. We are on the
Earth to find out that all energies that are ever made available to us are meant to be used as tools, so that each may more
efficiently do their share of bringing our new and peaceful world into being. And each one of us contains the creative power of
God that can either bless and heal or wantonly destroy. The Universe loves us; we are Its children and it therefore helps us to
create whatever our heart truly desires. Over the course of many lifetimes, in this way we get to know and learn the wise use of
their inherent powers. Everything that is in the whole of Creation is at our disposal and will in the fullness of time when we are
good and ready for it be made available to us.
One of the main reasons for being here is learning to differentiate between good and evil, darkness and light. Whether
something we do is good or evil depends on the intentions behind our action. From the results this draws towards us we learn
whether that activity was good or bad. In some way, we are all pupils and teachers to each other; life itself and the experiences
we gather are our teachers. If at the present stage of our evolution we want a peaceful world more than anything, then that is
indeed what the Universe will give us but each must do their share of bringing it into being. Everything has its origin in us; that
is why if we want peace, we have to begin with ourselves, sweep in front of our own door and conduct our lives in more
peaceful ways, making an effort to create a more loving relationship with ourselves, those around us and also our environment.
The Universe experiences itself through us. It prays and thinks through us. Potentially, we are all channels of the Divine,
capable of simultaneously being receiver/transmitter and relay stations of Its wisdom. The super-abundance of creative ideas
from the spiritual Sun, during this coming year, will be fully at everybodys disposal to help us create our peaceful world. For all
the new beginnings this requires the strength of the creative energies will initially flow slowly, but its strength will constantly
increase, as we move through the year. There was a general sense of optimism already in the air, in spite of the fact that this
was written very early in January.

Saturn as the Teacher and Rewarder
Do Things Like Astrology And Numerology Have Any Power Of Their Own?
Upon publication of the first draft of this article, someone sent me such an interesting enquiry that I have decided to include it
here, in the hope that you may also gain something from it. It is written in the form of a dialogue between my correspondent, J,
and me, A.
J: Hmmm, for quite some time a lot of people here have been saying that we are entering a period of great energy and joy, and
I
tend
to
agree
with
them.
A: I would say that numerology confirms this see my explanation about 2+8=10 = ruled by the Sun thats joy, vitality, energy
you name it and it will be there abundantly; its up to each one of us to tap into these energies. The Sun being the Source of
all life and therefore the most generous of givers, they are certainly meant to be for all life.
J: Besides, I am a believer in thought creating reality: if you think positive thoughts, then positive things will happen. I dont
believe
in
fate
dictated
by
numbers.
A: I share that belief and I do not believe that fate is dictated by numbers. To me, the numbers are a reflection of the energies
that are made available to us and our world; no more they do not dictate anything to anyone.
J: Numbers are a man made innovation, so how can they reflect the future? How did it work before numbers were invented?
Was
the
Universe
waiting
for
man
to
think
up
some
numbers
before
revealing
the
future
to
him?
A: I couldnt agree more, but who do you think gives humankind all these wonderful ideas? Do you seriously believe that
without a Higher Authority in charge of us we would ever have any of them? I would not wish to use either astrology or
numerology for fortune telling, i.e. forecasting the future. Who would I be to attempt that? The way I understand this life is that it
was not humankind who suddenly dreamt up numbers any of them. It happened the other way round; the idea of numbering
things was given to us by the Universal Intelligence, to help us organise and get some order into the chaos that our world would
otherwise be.
J: We are in the year 2008 only because we choose to call it that. There are other numbers to denote this year in the Jewish
and Islamic systems, I think. I dont know what year were in according to those systems, but the chances are that the numbers
involved there might point to this year being wonderful. How do you square that with your own assessment, Aquarius?
A: Theres an interesting point; I wonder whether anyone could find those numbers out for us, so that one could compare them
with each other. I believe that everything is predestined and that nothing is left to chance. That is why it would not surprise me
one bit if all the figures in the end came to the same conclusion, merely getting there in a different way.
Besides, it is everybodys right nay, duty to think positively of whatever comes our way. By thinking positively, we draw
positive things into our lives; we help them to happen. Apart from everything else I believe that no matter what life presents us
with, something good is always hidden behind every experience, if one just opens ones eyes to perceive it.
J: Um, basically Im saying I am very sceptical about numerology, lol! In my view you can make numbers mean whatever you
want
them
to,
as
with
statistics.
A: Thats your privilege, J. However, numerologically numbers present energies and with the help of numerology you most
certainly cannot make numbers whatever you want them to be, although that indeed is possible with statistics. But then, thats
another story entirely!
At that stage, someone very kindly was trying to come to our help and shed some more light onto this question.
S: I know I may be completely off the mark here, but maybe I can provide an answer to the theory of the previous questioner. It
is my understanding that we are affected by multiple types of energies while on this earthly plane. We are also, due to nurture,
very much a product of the culture we are raised in, thus were affected by religion, race, socio-economic levels, interests were
exposed
to
and
so
forth.
A: To my mind, there is no better way of explaining to us these multiple types of energies than with the help of astrology and
numerology. Although the two are sister subjects, they show up different energies by which we are all influenced. In spite of
that, they never contradict each other; if anything they complement each other.
S: So, is it possible that those of us who follow and believe it to be the year 2008 in the Gregorian calendar are influenced by
the energies of that calendar? Meanwhile those who are devout Jews, lets say, who simultaneously know the year by the
Jewish calendar, are influenced or maybe further influenced by the energies revealed by its numbers? Or even, if someone
decided that they wished to follow the date on the Mayan calendar, would that person then be influenced by the energies
connecting
with
those
numbers?
A: Thats an interesting theory, but it doesnt really hold water, I feel. Underlying all these different ways of keeping track of time
is the Universal intelligence and its energies, to which all life is subject and kept on track, if I may call it that. The various ways
of interpreting these energies, like astrology, numerology, the Kabala, Chinese astrology and the different manners of keeping
track of time by our present calendar system or the Gregorian, Jewish, Mayan or any other one, are mere interpretations, no
more. In themselves none of them can influence the course of the Universe in any way; that is Gods task. We down here on
the Earth, no matter how advanced our explanations and beliefs may be, cannot influence in any way, manner, shape or form
the flow of the Universe and its energies.
Thats why I said it would be interesting to study all these different ways of counting time to see how they compare and whether
any of them would come to the same conclusions as my article. A short while after publishing this an interesting item of
information turned up perchance nothing is chance, as you and I know. Someone drew my attention to the fact that the
Chinese year of the rat has started. And guess what that means? New beginnings of many kinds for all! The same conclusion
as I had come to in my article.
Do you think its possible to change the course of ones destiny by altering ones name? My inner guidance gives me a loud and
clear: No! and points me to Shakespeares words in Romeo and Juliet: What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any
other name would smell as sweet. No matter what name you choose for a rose, call it brick or house or anything else, it still
exudes the same scent, its spiritual essence. The same principle applies to human name changes. The essence, our spirit and
soul and its emanations in the form of our character traces, reflected in our behaviour and reactions to the world around us, as
well as our Karma remains unchanged. The outer appearance of anything, including our own, is always a manifestation of its
inner
counterpart,
never
the
other
way
round.
In any case, there is a wise and higher reason for any name. Everything in the whole of Creation is vibration and numerology
reveals how each one indeed possesses its own unique vibration that reflects the inner and outer nature of the person, animal
or object carrying it. Thats why a rose by any other name cannot do anything but smell as sweet and why changing ones name
does in truth not alter anything. Interestingly enough also, someone changing their name is likely to intuitively pick a name with
a similar vibration. This is underneath so to speak and invisibly, the old name will always remain, because that is the name
the
soul
itself
chose
before
coming
into
its
present
lifetime.
The power to consciously influence and change our destiny and future Karma is actually placed in everybodys own hands. Yet,
it can only be done by changing our character, our behaviour and thinking patterns, words, thoughts and actions in the present.
We consciously need to endeavour to bring forth from within ourselves the highest human qualities we are capable of
displaying at any given moment. But even then, before any soul can move on to different and higher lessons, the Lords of
Karma on the highest levels of life ensure that past Karma has to be redeemed by every human soul before it can be released
from its education on the physical plane of life. Each one of us is sure to have come with loads of good, bad and indifferent
Karma
into
this
lifetime.
If
that
was
not
the
case,
there
would
be
no
need
for
us
to
be
here.
Have you ever reflected on how most peoples name for everyday use is an abbreviation, usually because the full name is too
long, mine included? Underneath however, the old name will always remain valid and functioning, as I can tell you from first
hand experience, as well as through those around me. Take a Maggie for example. She will always remain a Margaret. Mikes,
Micks and Mitches will never change from their Michael vibration and so forth. So, a name whats in a name? A great deal! If
you only know someones first name, numerologically it reveals much more about them than anyone would think. I once made
a study of peoples initials only which led me to some interesting conclusions.
Finding your life purpose is a process. The flower essence is intended to facilitate it at vibrational level by putting you
in a connective mood with your inner self.
It is possible that once you begin to understand the philosophy behind the Bach Flower Remedies about the interaction
between your Thinking Self, your Feeling Self and your Higher Self, you might want to define your life purpose as part
of a broader, deeper scheme.
