Who Are We?

Oman Student Society of Health Professions (OSSHP) represents a community of
students who are interested in solving and targeting health-related issues. It will work as a
student body that serves health professions' students in Oman by promoting relationships
between student groups, developing events and panels in the health field, developing
student overall skills, assisting with student-interest program planning, and promoting
relationships between students groups and other health societies in and outside the
country.
It will be a representative body of students from all Health Profession programs in Oman
and provide student suggestions, reactions, insights, and opinions. It also provides
students the opportunity to learn and develop their own leadership skills while also
providing supporting information for curriculum development. It will be a great positive
turn in the journey of Health Professions' students. It will provide them with the umbrella
under which they can work, create, and achieve.
Oman Student Society of Health Professions is committed to improve health care
delivery to the community; promote active improvement in medical education; involve its
members in the social, moral and ethical obligations of the profession of medicine and
related health sciences, assist in the improvement and understanding of global health
problems, contribute to the welfare of health professions' students, premedical students,
interns and trainees; and advancing the profession of medicine and related health
sciences.
