LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
Understand principle, working and operation of various Electrical and electronic Circuit and learn
techniques to identify the fault and repair various kinds of electronic gadgets and able to design Analog
electronic circuits.

Demonstrate proficiency in fault finding and repairing of electronic appliance, exhibit knowledge of
electrical materials, their properties, working principles and solder different components of a circuit

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
Understand and Experience VLSI Design Flow and Learn Transistor-Level CMOS Logic Design

LEARNING OUTCOME:
Apply CMOS technology-specific layout rules in the placement and routing of transistors and
interconnect, and to verify the functionality, timing, power, and parasitic effects.

EMBEDDED C LAB
LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
Enable the students to program, simulate and test the 8051, 8052, PIC16 and ARM processor based
circuits using KEIL,, MPLAB, PROTEUS, MULTISIM softwares and to give the students the
opportunity to build and test the embedded systems.

LEARNING OUTCOME:
Have the knowledge through hands-on experimentation the keil, proteus, multisim tools for embedded
systems as well as the basics of design, simulate and implement the embedded systems using C.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
Provide an overview of the principles, operation and application of the analog building blocks like diodes,
BJT, FET, Op-amp etc for performing various functions.

Design and simulate different biasing circuits and applications of BJT and FET and different
configurations and applications of opamp.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
Acquire a mathematical understanding of Analog

Communication Systems and design a practical

communication system at the block diagram level under certain constraints and requirements.

LEARNING OUTCOME:
Develop the spectral properties of frequency modulation and analyze the demodulated frequencymodulated signals in the presence of noise and develop concept of designing hybrid modulators which
caters the need of communication system.

DIGITAL COMMUNICATION LAB


LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
Design Various Modulation Schemes using specific component and program different Signal, Coding
Schemes and Modulation Schemes using MATLAB/SCILAB.

LEARNING OUTCOME:
Compute the bandwidth and transmission power by analyzing time and frequency domain spectra of
signal required under various modulation schemes and apply suitable modulation schemes and coding for
various applications.

DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING LAB


LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
Provide practical experience of signal and image processing implementation in preparation for the
project. The course will be composed of programming sessions and course assignments covering discrete
time signal analysis, communications and image processing.

LEARNING OUTCOME:

Understand how to use MATAB to simulate and analyze signal and image processing algorithms and
characterize sampled systems in time and frequency domain.

NETWORKS AND SYSTEMS LAB


LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
Familiarize students with different electric network topology to solve circuit problems and their responses
(steady-state and transient) and plotting/analysis of these signals.

LEARNING OUTCOME:
Apply concepts of electric network topology: nodes, branches, and loops to solve circuit problems,
including the use of computer simulation(MATLAB)and relate physical observations and measurements
involving electrical circuits to theoretical principles.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:
Design electronic solutions to meet specified requirement and test the circuit designs using Laboratory
Instruments.

LEARNING OUTCOME:
Make basic connections to instrumentation such as power, input signal, voltage measurement, and time
and frequency domain measurements and understand and apply characteristic equations for circuit
components (transistors, resistors) to analyze and design circuits.

DIGITAL ELECTRONICS CIRCUIT LAB

Introduce the concepts and techniques associated with the number systems, codes and VHDL
programming. To minimize the logical expressions using Boolean postulates.

Simplify the logic expressions using Boolean laws and postulates and design them by using logic gates.

Understand the internal organization of INTEL 8085 and 8086 Microprocessors and familiarize
with Assembly Language Programs using the instruction sets of processors.
LEARNING OUTCOME:
Students should learn to execute 8 & 16-bits basic assembly level language program by using
8085/8086 MP kit.
